I’ve been going to Anilao for about 2 decades now and it’s a pity I only found out about the resort in this trip. It had everything I was looking for in a resort. Nice, spacious rooms facing the ocean. Smart TVs with fast broadband internet. Food was great too and there were a lot of choices. Service was superb. The property itself felt like they really take the time find out their guests needs before they arrive. In my case, I had 2 dogs with me. One’s a service dog and they coordinated with me asking which types of meals to prepare for them and what ingredients they are allergic to. The resorts looks very well maintained and it was clean all the time. Try the ramball (cocktail). It was perfect for sunset drinks. Really had an amazing time and can’t wait to go back!

They get fully booked quickly so need to plan travels in advance!

Loved everything about our stay — staff were all really nice from check in, restaurant and even the team that arranged our dive. Definitely a place to go for those who want to dive in the area.

Parking will be a little bit of a challenge but that staff will assist you!

We got the sea view suite and it did not disappoint. The spacious desk arrangement provided for a comfortable remote work environment and the wifi accommodated my meetings very well. The expansive balcony provided great views of the sunset over the sea and we also enjoyed the bathtub and provided body soaps. We planned on checking out other dining options but honestly the in-house restaurant fare was delicious, especially the desserts. I love that there was a variety of vegetarian options (even though I am not vegetarian) which were delicious as well. The service was also top-notch and we left a 1000php tip to acknowledge their dedication and effort. I especially enjoyed the way that they catered to my exceeding love of ice in my water. My partner really enjoyed the night dive and island hopping adventures we booked through the resort and she is very excited about the prospect of specializing in underwater photography which is the highlight of this dive resort, or even schedule a liveaboard next year on one of the affiliated Solitude properties. She also enjoyed the massage booked from the reception.

Our stay at Solitude Acacia was wonderful. We arrived two hours before check-in, but our room was already ready, and checking in was no problem at all. Originally, we had planned to stay for only two nights, but we enjoyed it so much that we extended our stay by an extra night just before leaving the Philippines. The resort is perfectly located, and the staff members were exceptional—friendly (especially the waiters), professional, and always helpful. The facilities are top-notch, offering everything you need to relax and unwind in a peaceful natural setting, far from the noise and crowds of the city. The food was absolutely delicious, and having the beach just steps away was incredible. The seawater was pristine, and snorkeling among the vibrant marine life was a true highlight of our trip. We also got to use the paddle-board to explore the surrounding waters, not to mention the breathtaking sunset views we enjoyed every evening.

In these times when we must be conscious of the world we live in, I believe it's important—not just for the planet but also for hotels finance—to avoid changing bath towels every day. As someone who works in the hospitality industry, I think we should adopt more eco-friendly policies regarding bedsheets and towels. On the day we arrived, we encountered a small issue in our room: the toilet had no seat. After notifying the front office, they seemed surprised by my complaint. However, they contacted maintenance, and within a few hours, the issue was resolved. Not a huge deal, but maybe double-checking rooms before guests arrive could save some hassle.

The resort is really nice. Its tailored to divers and if you go for a diving vacation I guess it's the perfect place. The Acacia Tree is really beautiful as well as all the other plants. The restaurant offers a good variety of healthy food options and the view there is really nice. I appreciate that they had vegan options on the menu.

However, a bit too expensive for what it provides. A bit of attention to detail is lacking. I found the prices in the restaurant too high, especially because the portions are really tiny.

Breakfast was great! location was good, but the menu options and overall preparation was beyond expectations, including the delicious coffee! The island hopping services worked out well too. Dive shop was well stocked, good instructors/ divemasters and friendly staff. Bit on the pricy side, when compared to the similar quality services provided by nearby dive resorts.

It's not a negative feedback, it's probably applicable to us, because we were travelling with aged parents; the entire resort has numerous stairs- to go to the rooms, restaurant, pool- becomes tedious for them. and no wheel chair access too.

I think Solitude Acacia Resort is my #1 resort in Batangas for the most time of it. I love everything about it especially the location, strong wifi in case I need to connect for work purposes, the restaurant's food and the option to just dine-in even without checking in, the cleanliness of the rooms + bathrom is top notch and the best for me it's pet friendly. My pet cat loves the place so much. It's also very secured around the area! I would totally recommend it.

Maybe just how very costly it can be.

Beautiful resort and a fantastic restaurant. Although this is a diving resort, we booked it as we wanted a peaceful getaway and it completely delivered. We organised an island hopping day with them for abour 5000 PHP and managed to go to 2 different islands and ordered some food and drink from the restaurant to take with us which was absolutely magical. We were also able to organise a transfer last minute with the hotel which was expensive (155 USD each way) but in line with taxi prices from the airport.

Reception staff at times seemed not super interested in helping out, but might have just been a miscommunication.

Top for the money. Beautiful well designed territory, friendly staff, unexpectedly tasty restaurant like in the best Manila restaurants. I also took a diving session for beginners and everything was so clear, supportive and fascinating. Also, I was with a dog and the hotel is pet-friendly. 100% recommended

Creaky bed, annoying traders on the beach that tries to get your attention when you try to relax and don't understand "no"

I had a really good time at Solitude! The room was very spacious, had everything you needed and the general facilities, especially the pool, are great. The highlight of my stay was definitely the staff, who were super friendly and went above and beyond to help me with all kinds of questions, from Leo the friendly security guard to the receptionists and the restaurant staff.
