Rooms cleaned every day with fresh towels provided. Very necessary as the weather was very humid and you need a good shower to feel refreshed and the fluffy towels helped.

I would like to have cutlery and fresh milk provided. I don't like uht milk and it just adds a personal touch and makes it more inviting stay having fresh milk in the fridge. Also it would help to have a lighted sign at front entrance as its a little difficult to see the driveway at night.

I had upgraded my room when a friend decided to join me, but this hadn't synced through and I didn't think to ask at check in. When I realised I was still in the budget room and pulled out my updated booking confirmation, the staff member was very helpful and quickly moved us and fixed up the billing. The room was very comfortable and clean and the appliances worked well.

Be warned that tap water in St George is warm on a summer's afternoon - yes, even out of the cold tap! This was also my experience on a previous stay at another hotel in St George and when out drinking from bubblers in town.

The early check in was really appreciated as we had been camping in the rain and needed a shower. Shower was hot and bed was great

Although not too far from town in the rain we got quite wet as it’s a little walk to the main drag

The King Size bed was very comfortable. Room was clean, quiet and a good size.

Do not wish to be picky but the TV was small and difficult to use (universal remote). Would have preferred to have some facial tissues in the room and some additional crockery and cutlery.

It was modern and clean, very comfortable bed. Great , very spacious bathroom, great shower, good linen. The kitchen was compact, but had everything you could wish for. Including a great variety of teas, and crockery.

Well maintained property… rooms clean and comfy…nice little pool to cool off and easy walk to town for dinner. Lovely river walking track to explore.Manager friendly and helpful.Had aircon running in room when we arrived which was a nice touch on a very hot day😊

Kellie, the manager, was very courteous, helpful, and followed up on any requests. It was great value for money. It is walking distance to a variety of food/dining venues for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It has under cover parking, which is great for stormy/wet weather.

Great location. Just a short walk to the CBD for coffee and look around. Nice and handy to the Balonne River walking path. Very quiet at night. Also, very happy to see management reinforce no smoking policy - this is important for the comfort of non-smokers and the reminder to the group was done in a respectful manner.

The rooms are simple but the price was very good, so it was very good value all up. The motel is very close to Foodworks, IGA, the bakery, Handimart, the pubs etc. Shower pressure was very good.

The town relies on bore water and water from the river, but there is nothing the motel can do about that.

The relieving managers went out of their way to accommodate our needs. Location to town and the Balonne River Walk was really good. Room was comfortable and quiet and was very adequate for our 2 day stay.

When booking one has to appreciate that it is an older motel. Be sure of the size of the room you require.
