What can we say! … Mas de la Beaume is a magical place in every way. If you dream of staying in a place that is pretty French chic, next to a village from a fairytale then this is the place for you. Sandrine and Joel are more than perfect hosts, they go the extra mile to make sure your stay is special, from the warmest of welcomes, to lovely breakfasts delivered to you on your terrace, nothing is too much trouble. We can honestly say that we have never met a couple who found a special place in our hearts in such a short time. Thank you so much for a perfect stay. x

Mas de la Beaume was such a pleasant, lovely surprise. I wasn't 100% sure what it was going to be like from the listing, but this hotel is such a lovely paradise. The owners have put in so much care and detail into all aspects to really make it feel special. We enjoyed breakfast on our patio every morning overlooking the grounds and the Luberon valley beyond. It was beautiful and a time we looked forward to each morning! We enjoyed a takeout dinner one night from a local restaurant and enjoyed the pool deck while having dinner soaking in the sunset. It was beautiful! We walked into Gordes every day, and received such great insights & recommendations from the owner!

Mas de la Beaume is a wonderful authentic property on the edge of a stunningly beautiful village. It is an an easy walk offering the best and breathtaking views of Gordes. Hosts were lovely and so accomodating giving great suggestions for restaurants and day trips. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, served on our wonderful terrace. Our room was beautifully decorated, with a great bathroom and linen and towels were luxurious. So much thought and love has gone into making this a perfect place to stay. For us it was such a quintessential French experience. Loved the pool as well. Thank you so much for sharing.

Superb location. Very comfortable bed. Quiet and secluded feeling even though it’s only a ten min walk into Gordes. Great breakfast provided by the lovely hosts.

The only thing that could have made our stay even better would have been to have a heated swimming pool. It was very very cold - even on a warm day in September, so we did not spend as much time as we had planned, relaxing by and in the pool and reading our books. I appreciate it is probably fine in the Summer heat of July and August, but it would have been lovely to have it warm enough to swim in for more than five minutes or so.

In southern France, Gordes is my favorite place. It's very convenient to drive to other small towns from here. We stayed in this hotel for four nights. Both the room decoration and the garden are exquisitely designed. The 200-year-old house is well-preserved. We experienced sunny, cloudy, rainy and foggy weather. Standing in the garden, we felt the unique atmosphere brought by each type of weather. Overall, it was a great experience, and I highly recommend this hotel.

Mas de la Beaume is a true gem. The rooms are big and all have a lovely patio where a delicious breakfast is served every morning. The jams are homemade by the hostess and delicious. It is an easy 10 minute walk to the center of Gordes which is charming and had one of the nicest markets we went to during 2 weeks in Provence. Joel and Sandrine are wonderful hosts and the grounds are beautifully maintained. To be surrounded by fig trees and olive trees and butterflies and hummingbirds was just what we needed to end 2 weeks in Provence. Thank you!

Nothing, it was truly wonderful.

We were looking for a traditional accomodation to feel the Provence charm and we found this lovely place. The room is decorated with dry lavender and the smell is amazing. When you open the window shutters (wood painted in light blue), you can see the beautiful garden with lavender, roses and wild flowers. The garden is wonderful. We had a panoramic view of Gordes from our bathroom window. The breafast is so fresh with hight quality products: freshly squeezed orange juice, baguette, croissants, marmalade, honey, butter, cheese etc. Indeed there are no eggs or meat, but you won’t miss them. It is served outside in the garden in a lovely and private setup. The best view of Gordes is right in from of the property and the old town is within walking distance.

Each room is apparently appointed differently but ours had high ceilings, smelled heavenly of lavender, the bed was super comfortable with crisp white sheets, the bathroom was spacious. Beautiful antiques, dried flowers, and artwork made it really special. The best part is that each room is set apart from the others - almost like individual cabins - with individual terraces where guests can eat their own DELICIOUS breakfast, delivered between 8:30-10:30. Each terrace overlooks, and is surrounded by, the most beautiful garden with wonderful views! Out of our two weeks in France - this was our most luxurious stay and the only bummer is that we didn't stay longer!

No complaints - except that we didn't stay more than one day and didn't take the time to relax and enjoy the beauty of the garden and pool! (Not a complaint but a reminder - if you want to eat at a particular restaurant in Gorges, which is a short walk from the hotel, don't forget to make dinner reservations, well in advance, as tables fill up quickly!)

Most charming and romantic setting ever. So peaceful and beautifully maintained. Walk into the town of Gordes was easy and scenic. Rooms are nicely appointed and decorated in a beautiful French style. The breakfast is tasty and just right. This is our second stay at this property because we loved it so much- and we come all the way from the US.

The only thing we didn’t like was what we considered to be a somewhat snotty note left when we accidentally put an empty water bottle in a basket that was apparently there to hold the drapes off the floor. Lots of exclamation points‼️❗️‼️‼️‼️

The gracious hosts welcome you to a hidden gem of a property. Quaint cottages are surrounded by beautifully manicured, mature gardens. The hosts are extremely knowledgeable of the region, offering many suggestions for daily outings or dinner reservations. A lovely breakfast is served daily with an abundance of delicious French offerings. A must if you are staying in Luberon.

The only consideration would be for those with accessibility concerns.
