The rooms were remodeled and beautiful. It was like walking into a 5 star motel. Very clean, spacious. The shower was simply amazing. Very very large the shower head actually massaged you felt wonderful on my back & hamstrings. The bed was great, not mushy, it was a nice film mattresses, the pillows were perfect. Don't let the name fool you. This is by far THE BEST place we stayed on our cross country trip. The staff are very friendly. No guest is a stranger to them. They are all terrific. Very nice will do anything to make you stay as comfortable as possible, and they don't have to do anything all the comforts are in the room. Nice large flat screen TV, CLEANEST microwave and fridge I have ever seen. Great working air conditioner. Even though they are located off a highway, you never hear the traffic. You get a great night's sleep on a great comfy bed. I will ALWAYS stay here when traveling. I highly recommend this place. Need ice,? Go to the front desk and they bag it up for you, how great is that.

The only thing I didn't like was they didn't offer breakfast, however there are plenty of places around to eat and close by. We bring our own coffee pot and filters so no coffee pot in the room was not a problem.

They have done a great job updating an older property. All the amenities. Clean and nice.

It's a minor nitpick but there is almost no counter space in the bathroom. Thankfully, there was a hutch just outside of the bathroom where I laid out my toiletries.

Although there is no breakfast here, there is 24 hour coffee and hot water, which I value more. This is a very simple "mom & pop" operation, so there are no frills. But if what you want is a quiet, clean, peaceful night's rest with minimal charges, this is certainly the place... We had the double bed room, and the size was great. Good fridge and microwave. There is a really good Mexican restaurant right next door (Los Cabos); friendly and super value for authentic Mexican food.

Well, no breakfast, but to tell the truth I don't really mind that, since usually all I want is a cup of coffee in the morning. There is a coffee machine in the lobby with 24-hour access to coffee and hot water, and I love that. I think there used to be a pool, but nothing now; again, not a big thing for me.

A little older hotel, but very well kept. Room was nicely furnished and spacious. Will stay there again. Close to several eating places and very good Mexican restaurant next door.

Liked everything

This is a small, privately owned place; but oh boy they work to take care of guests. We had a double-queen room; it was spacious, and both beds were very comfortable. I particularly liked the windows both in front and behind; it made the large room even more spacious. The beds were really comfortable, and everything was quiet.

Well, a person could whine about not having ice machines, etc... but since you can go to the office and they will fill an ice bucket for you, hey.

shower head not connected to the wall--the hot water was hot but hard to regulate to temp wanted for shower. had trouble with door lock. not sure how long to hold key card to lock and then turn handle to get it open. liked ones with slots better than this type.
