The building has a long and interesting history. We liked the quirkiness of the rooms and the shared areas. The room was spotlessly clean. The Hotel holds a nice position within easy walking distance of beaches and restaurants. The breakfast was good and staff were attentive. The

Air conditioning would be good but I understand that the age of the property may make this difficult to install.

Very nice hotel with beautiful and clean rooms. Staff is really nice and helpful! Very good breakfasts in french style. Private parking is a nice addition. Close to port and beach, sensible distance to other locations in the city. Market place with fresh seafood is 1 min away! I strongly recommend this place.

The staff are helpful, kind and friendly- went above and beyond! The bar is well stocked, and the charcuterie and cheese boards are delicious! The huge jacuzzi and sauna area is a wonderful value add. The rooms are lovely and cleaned daily- superb! There are gorgeous little shops, patisseries, market and more within a few meters. Beach is less than 5 minute walk. Spent 10 days at the hotel and will definitely be back!

The hotel was very well appointed, with nice decor. My room was large and very comfortable with very comfy beds and a lovely rain forest shower (although the water took a while to get hot). It also had flat-screen TV, desk, comfy armchair and a security safe. The bathroom was in another room via an opening from the bedroom.

Location was perfect. Quirky boutique style hotel - full of character - spacious accommodation and very comfortable. Staff were lovely, very friendly and extremely helpful.

In need of some refurbishment and updating. Bathroom was spacious but rather awkward to get in and out of bath/shower.

A large comfortable room with helpful staff and one of the best breakfasts I've had in France . Very pleasant dining room and communal areas.

Beware of the parking bays at the front of the hotel. They say 'parking for 30 minutes' but I got a ticket after 10!!!

The Hotel was perfectly situated in the town. The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel charming and a little bit quirky in an attractive way. A very pleasurable stay, I would have happily stayed longer if time had permitted.

The staff were lovely, the breakfast was great, the car park was perfect for our car which has a roof box on top of it…..secure and spacious. Our room was a very good size which was good as we had our dog with us.

Bathroom smelled a bit damp but the room and bathroom were spotless.

The very spacious room and I felt that the hotel is very safe. I adore Hotel Sud Bretagne.
