Great location just off the highway. Close to a retail park but very quiet. Comfortable bed and room spotlessly clean. Evening meal was very good and the breakfast was brilliant with a large selection of hot and cold food to choose from. Staff as usual were very polite, friendly and professional. I needed an iron to iron my clothes which the receptionist gave me along with an ironing board. This is the fourth time we have stayed here on our way and way back from our travels. Perfect!

Lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the room and a comfortable area in the bar to relax and have a drink.

An aged Monarch who is starting to show its age but still a pleasant place to spend a night . Reception was businesslike and efficient. Had small inside room for bicycle storage . Room was adequate in size . Bathroom compact but clean . On-site restaurant had reasonable price point . Breakfast was more than adequate with hot and cold food choices.

Long and poorly lit hallways to rooms. Our room #154 was very poorly lit . Many things which had been bright and shiny when new are now tarnished , faded and worn . Carpet in our room had outlived its life expectancy and was dingy and showed its age . Major highway close by with accompanying vehicle noise all night long - not overwhelming but quite notable .

Very convenient location for the highway, fuel station and shops. Plenty of parking in an almost deserted public car park next to the hotel if the hotel car park is full. The hotel itself is brilliantly quirky and very quiet and comfortable. All members of staff were very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. Both evening meal and the breakfast were excellent. There was plenty of choice of hot and cold food for breakfast.

Nothing to dislike.

Spacious room, all in ocean and beach theme. Bed was nice and cozy. Wide variety of breakfast items which was appreciated.

Being on the ground floor, our room was located next to a lot where people would sometimes walk around. Someone saw our window open and talked into the window. A little weird.

I loved the beach theme which is very original - everything was ok and very clean. Very comfortable bed and spacious shower. And i was also given a quiet room, as I wished.

Room a little pricy. For the price I would expect to have a little fridge. It was extremely hot - there was, however a fan, which did help a little.

Very convenient stopover on our journey from Hoek van Holland to Piemonte. Close to the autobahn 61, but very quiet. Nice big room & very comfortable bed. Decent meal in the onsite restaurant Good breakfast.

Restaurant menu was relatively limited

A lovely hotel on an industrial estate but don’t let that put you off it was quiet and secure Near the big M for the kids, cheap fuel station 30 secs away and two mins from motorway. Breakfast was a wonderful all you can eat hot and cold buffet

Might have gone a bit far with the beach theme but fun for the kids

I returned to this hotel because of the nice "seaside" interior design. Large comfortable rooms with a special athmosphere. Difficult to find however as it is deeply nested into a commercial area outside of Alzey.

Signposting to the hotel could be improved.

Very conveniently located close to the highway for a stop overnight. We loved the marine design and clean facilities. Friendly staff and good value for money.

It was a very hot day and the room was very warm and didn't cool down overnight although we kept the window wide open. Very thick blankets not according to the season.

Great overnight stop, on the way back to the ferry in Rotterdam from exploring the alps. Just off the motorway, everything was as good as the first time I stopped here.

It seemed quite expensive for the room this time. Having just spent 8 days in hotels all over the Alps in Germany, Switzerland, Italy, and Austria, this cost me the most.
