-last minute checkin ok at half last 11pm!- missed the last train to Visp/Brig from Domodossola on the way home from a 2.5hr late flight home from vacation in Egypt to Milan. Woke up at 6:15am and was able to get to work in Switzerland on time at 8am -In general the hotel looked amazing- nice interior design, of lobby/resraurant- sadly didn't have time for what looked like a fantastic breakfast. -Nice room, comfortable bed and great restroom

-Of course I didn't like that I didn't make my train in the first place, but for hotel itself I have no complaints, except for maybe the price but for what you get I can't complain about that either

The Hotel Ristorante Eurossola met and exceeded our expectations in every way. It was in a great location across from the train station (not noisy at all) which was good for us since we went on several day trips via the train. The Hotel staff was really amazing. The day we left we had to leave very early in the morning and were not able to have breakfast at the hotel. The staff made us ham and cheese sandwiches, had a slice of cake, fruit, and water ready for us when we left at 6am. The restaurant is one of the best and is a Michelin Starred restaurant. Great food at night and a really amazing breakfast every morning. We highly recommend this hotel.

Eurossola is the perfect place to stay if you're travelling through Domodossola, as we were, on our way to and from the amazing mountains around Macugnaga. It is conveniently located directly across from the train station and right next to the bus station to Macugnaga. It has been recently renovated with a lot of attention to practical details. The breakfast buffet was not huge but tastefully prepared and had everything we needed for a great start to the day.

While the premises are nicely decorated there were no pictures in our rooms. It would be a minor touch to add a bit of warmth to the classy yet somewhat sterile rooms. The air-conditioning was great, but it still worked with the window opened, which most modern systems do not allow for - for efficiency and environmental reasons. It was not clear how to turn off the air-conditioning.

I was in Italy getting to know the country from north to south, and I can say with total certainty that the best place where I was was in il architetto de jacobo, the spectacular room, with a window with a beautiful view of the city center. Located in the quietest, safest and most beautiful area of the city. The breakfast was one of the most complete that I ate on a trip through the country with selected and very high quality products, in a very quiet environment Last but not least, the Jacobo the owner, is a gentleman, a very kind man who knows the city like the back of his own hand. He gave me all the tips I needed to make my tour of the city easier.

The hotel is modern and comfortable. The included breakfast was great and hearty, with the possibility of paying extra for an omelette which was very good. We also ate at the bistro in the evening which was exceptional for both food quality and price. The staff were fantastic and clearly family owned and run, so you could feel their passion for both hospitality and great food. I am already looking forward to going back and next time I will book a table at the restaurant in advance!!

My only comment is that the room doors are a bit thin so you can hear people in the corridor but other than that it was very quiet and didn’t cause a disturbance once asleep - especially as people were mindful of this fact.

Situated in the delightful Domodossola. Eurossola is a must stay gem! Deserving of so much more than the 3 stars you advertise. Beautifully appointed rooms, comfy bed and luxury bathroom Nice lighting and furnishings. Free parking. Friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. The old town nearby, Nice cafe's, restaurants in house and nearby.

Nothing not to like!

The hotel was in a fantastic location.the room was extremely comfortable and very clean.the breakfast was fresh and tasty.I would like to thank Cinzia who worked on reception she Was very helpful and really went the extra mile to make my stay at the hotel perfect ! So a massive thank you to Cinzia .I will definitely return to this hotel future.100% happy .thank you from mr windsor.

There was a mix-up re our booking. We had booked a room with sofa, so that we could sit and read, but none was available. The hotel then kindly upgraded us to a very comfortable suite instead. The breakfast was very good.

The mix-up over the booking was unfiortunate but we were also disappointed to discover that the hotel restaurant (its Michelin status was a key reason for our booking the hotel) was shut on the night in question (contrary to their website)

Wonderful location, stylish interior. Comfortable bed. Terrific breakfast with high quality produce. Bistro had €19 menu of the day which was delicious.

Our waiter was rude to us and wouldn’t repeat the dessert dishes when we asked what they were (he spoke in very fast Italian) He then used English to say he had already told us once and seemed annoyed because we didn’t speak Italian. It definitely took the enjoyment away from a fabulous meal.

The room was very clean and comfortable The breakfast was exceptionally good But the evening bistro had a v confusing menu, the staff were not very helpful or friendly. We felt uncomfortable and did not find the food good value

The evening meal was not Good value for Money and the Waiting on staff were not very friendly or helpful
