What a lovely little place. Run by two lovely gents who between them and us we could communicate in English, French and German. Both charming and very eager to please. On ground level, there is the bat and restaurant area with fabulous views of the waterfall and mountains. Choice of food from locality and a few other generals such as hamburger and pork steaks. Not cheap but delicious. Local beer on tap and local wine by the half or full litre. The white wine was very similar to a Pinot Grigio. Range of ice creams for dessert which were huge. Upstairs, via beautiful slate steps inside to first floor. Room 1: large, clean, ideal with four windows showing magnificent views. Sink in room. Beds lovely and comfortable. Almost like a semi memory foam. Hairdryer provided. Internet free and good. Terrace to the side just outside room. Toilet down corridor. Bathroom at end with shower separate to bath but in same room with a sink. Shower doors rather slim, breath in. Bath mat, two large towels and a hand towel provided. Breakfast simple but delicious. Two cereal types, orange juice, yoghurt, milk, salami and bread. The hard cheese provided is made by one of the family of one lads running the place. It’s absolutely gorgeous. Could buy local beer in bottles to take away in shop next door. Would definitely recommend this lovely little place just before the Italy border at the end of the Simplon Pass.

The hosts are exceptional, the room and the common areas are super clean, the location near the Simplon Pass is absolutely perfect, and the food is simply outstanding.

The walls are quite thin, so you can hear everything from the neighboring room—here’s to hoping for a well-behaved neighbor!

The hotel rooms are adjacent to a busy road. If you want to sleep with the window open, you should use earplugs. I was prepared for this, but not all guests may be.

The location was an overnight stop to another destination after leaving Italy, on arrival I was met by the manager who was very friendly and helpful. The room was small and maybe a little dated, but very clean and comfortable. Evening meal was fantastic and the staff were very attentive and friendly. The location had great views of the Swiss mountains. O, the manager also had pride in telling me the cheese was from his family’s farm and personally grew the salad that came with my evening meal which was fantastic.

Loved our one night stay here. We were cycling down off Simplin Pass and when we arrived cold and almost dark, the hosts were so welcoming and lovely. They looked after our bikes, it was a great room. We ate at the restaurant and it was delicious. Would totally recommend.

The staff is super friendly and they went out of their way to cater for my vegan breakfast and dinner requests. They adapted the menu without any problem. The room was very spacious with a balcony on both sides, and had mountain and road view.

The location of this charming little hotel in the center of the village, we got some incredible views from the restaurant and the balcony. The food was just great. The room based on SWISS pricing is cheap due to the fact that, you share the bathroom. I must say that we "specially" my wife was really happy with how CLEAN the shared bathroom and shower was. There was not one single hair and that was awsome, I thought my wife was going to kill me because I selected the hotel. Definnetly RECOMMENDED. The personnel 2 young men were really nice and advised us the different activities. Thank a lot we will be comming back at some point due to the peace and great atmosphere.

The only thing I did not liked neither my wife was the soace between the 2 people in the bed haha during the night suddently we found ourselves in that little space between the two bed mattresses.
