We had a splendid 3 night stay here. Great location, close to cafés, restaurants, train, parking under the hotel, (first time in a car-elevator!), the staff , especially Ruth, were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were very quiet, and clean. We had one with a kitchen and it was equipped well enough for a short stay. While I noted that the place might not be considered "romantic" that's only because it is quite modern and practical,.... parts of the building are in old stone and the courtyard is charming. I would go back, and I would recommend it to friends

Everything was great--- I would only suggest that having a broom, or even a whisk and dustpan in the room with the kitchen would have been nice. Plus a cheese grater - but really - no complaints !!!!

Clean, modern and helpful staff. Great to be able to book a parking. Smart apartments and would stay there again.

I was missing having a washing machine inside of the apartment, finding coins for the shared machine was real trouble. We had to go to three different bars to get enough coins for a wash load and drying. When travelling with a kid, laundry is unfortunately a reality.

Great location, and staff was friendly. The room was clean and the bed was confty as well. The closet was spacious and my wife was happy with it 😊.

The place looked nice and clean overall, but the shower could’ve been better since there was some mold between the tiles. The AC had controls, but it didn’t really cool the room, so it got pretty warm at times.

Staff were really friendly and helpful, we could leave our bags before and after. Location was really central and also near the station. Would come back if I was in the area.

The room was very hot (but it was a particularly hot period), we got the bottom floor so it was quite loud with people coming and going. It was a Saturday so it was loud until around midnight. Not the hotels fault.

The town-centre location was perfect for us to see the town and enjoy the central plaza. We had an upgraded room. The underground garage was very handy. We arrived on Sunday and the member of staff was on site to show us the garage and our room. A local bakery is round the corner, handy for bread croissants. An excellent restaurant is also close: the "Alternative Bistrot" Via Briona N.22 - superb food reasonably priced.

You need food for a self-catering stay, of course, and the nearest supermarket is a 6-minute walk away, by the main station, we didn't find a general food-store nearby. The cooking facilities in the apartment are pretty basic.

Lovely recently restored hotel in the centre of town. The staff were so friendly and the hotel was peaceful. It is a modern hotel in terms of its interior. The rooms are comfortable and have enough space though they aren’t massive. The location is perfect - in the very centre of Domodossola, about a one minute walk from the beautiful piazza (probably the most atmospheric and appealing piazza we have ever come across in Italy). Make sure you visit the vegan restaurant Sali & Pistacch - amazing foot and wine there. There is parking in a secure underground garage at an additional cost of €10 per night. The hotel is spotlessly clean and tidy and feels very classy.

We didn’t attempt to cook whilst there as there are so many fantastic restaurants on the doorstep of the hotel; however, if we had tried to do so I think the kitchen was perhaps a bit small. There is no oven - just a microwave and a twin induction hob. Probably fine for quick pasta dishes but nothing much more than that I would say. We knew this before we booked so wasn’t a negative for us - we always planned to eat out anyway.

Great loxation just by the squre and 5 min from train station. The building is nicly renovated. The room itself is not big but was designed with thought so it feels spacious. In the kitchen nice dishes and everything you need. Super clean! It felt as if we were the first guests.

I would only add better instructions how to find the entrance

Very central location, perfectly cleaned room with a small kitchen. Quiet and in the heart of the city, it's still reachable by car (if you are registered to the parking).

Extremely clean, modern and quiet place to stay, very comfortable and exactly what we needed!

It isn't an easy property to find and upon arrival there was a pin but it didn't give us access to the main building so we had to call reception. The receptionist didn't seem to care too much about helping us, we asked about parking and we weren't offered the onsite carpark. We asked the next day and a different much friendlier receptionist helped us with the parking and how to use the garage.

This is our second stay at Domus Residence and it did not disappoint. It is the perfect location for a quick visit to Switzerland. The staff are friendly, the location is perfect and the atmosphere in the area is fantastic. Thank you for another brilliant stay.
