Loved staying at NicoMat Rooms! Just around the corner from the town piazza. We had a very nice room, big enough for 2 person. Appreciated a comfortable sofa chair and small table in the room. Also a nicely filled mini bar fridge and tasty welcome cookies. Everything at this small hotel is made with attention to detail. The breakfast in the nice downstairs cellar is set up for self service and had a excellent selection! The owner and staff is very friendly and offered us to keep our luggage in the hotel until our train was leaving. Highly recommended to stay here for some nights in Domodossola. Grazie!

We liked everything

Lovely small hotel in a perfect location just one block away from the central square of historic Domodossola. A charming and characterful hotel in all respects. The rooms are cosy and comfortable, the welcome is warm and hospitality is friendly, and the breakfast is excellent. A short and easy walk from the railway station. We were there for the impressive Saturday market and enjoyed the excellent Casa de Rodis art gallery. Good to be in town to enjoy the evenings too.

On the *very* hot (30+) day we were there the aircon strugggled to keep up, but it’s an ancient building so what can you expect?

Everythings was exceptional. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the Mazzola, which makes easy to explore the charming town and its surroundings. It’s close to the main train station, which was perfect when exploring the area. The rooms were impeccably, clean and well appointed, the decor was tasteful and cozy, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The beds were exceptional comfortable ensuring a restful night sleep. The service at the hotel was outstanding. Anna was friendly, attentive and always ready to help with any questions or requests. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant day. The breakfast service provided a delightful start to the day in a cozy area. The hotel provided fresh produce every day from the farmers market. The coffee was one of the best I’ve tried while traveling. I wanna express gratitude to Anna for everything. She’s done during my stay over there.

Amazing place, highly recommended! The property is clean, comfortable, and fantastic location. Anna puts so much love and care into the hotel. Fresh breakfast every morning. It’s in the middle of the old city which makes your stay interesting. You get to be around locals and experience life in Domodossola.

Everything is charming at this place. Rooms are romantic, breakfast is heavenly, staff is friendly. Breakfast room is one of the most charming I've ever seen. It is also near the station and Domodossola's attractions.

Nothing bad to say. Perfect accomodation in a surprisingly charming city. In the evening we have to make our way into the hotel, because staff works until 7 pm. But nothing to complain about it.

Beautifully restored historic building in centre of the old part of Domodossola. A warm welcome from Anna with recommendations for dinner in the town. Room was immaculate, clean, well equipped like a smart hotel room. Even had a mountain view from our room. Extremely well run. Delicious and generous continental breakfast in vaulted cellar room. Anna kindly messaged us after we left the B&B to say that we had left a bag behind meaning that we were able to go back to collect it.

This place is great located right next to the main square of Domodossola. It has only six rooms on 3 floors (elevator is available), so you feel super private. Staff is very very friendly and helpful, smiles also all the time. Room was furnished nice, bed was comfy, modern bathroom, relaxing shower. Excellent breakfast! I absolutely recommend this place.

We had a great time! You can feel the thought and intention behind everything -from sending the driving instructions to offering day trips, including the pampering and high-quality amenities in the bathroom, and ending with the design and comfort. Highly recommended!

This is a magical place - we only stayed for one night but I’m already thinking about when I can come back! Both Domodossola and Nicomat far exceeded our expectations..The breakfast was wonderful so much detail and beauty.. room also beautiful so much care has been put into everything- I don’t think of stars when I book hotels /b&bs but staying here felt like 5 star treatment

On a very hot day, the air conditioning had not been turned on in our room prior to arrival. The temperature in our room hovered in the high 20s for the majority of our stay due to a very ineffective air conditioning unit.
