The location was excellent. Only a few minutes walk from the town of Pollonia, with good restaurants and shops. They have a large parking lot if you rent a vehicle. Our room was large and comfortable, with tons of amenities. They stocked the room with some local treats before we arrived, including beverages and a bottle of wine. They restocked the coffee and tea, each day, as necessary. The breakfast was out of this world. Delivered right to your room at a specified time. Great local favorites and plenty to go around. Just check to see if you paid for breakfast when you booked your room. Otherwise it is an extra charge at the end. I didn't realize that (my fault) and got a hefty bill when we checked out(We were there for two weeks). It was a great way to start the day, and we rarely ate lunch after. Our next meal was dinner. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were available for local advice and activities. It was always service with a smile. I would definitely stay again when visiting Milos.

There was nothing to dislike. I wish they would have made it clear about the cost of breakfast. I may have missed that in the small guide that they left in the room. Not a big deal though, since the breakfast was so worth it.

The location was excellent, just a very short walking distance from the center of Pollonia with all the restaurants, coffee shops, mini mart and Pollonia beach, but also slightly out of the hustle and bustle of that main corner so it is tranquil. We traveled all over Milos and everything was easily accessible as you are connected to all the main roads. The staff was excellent, the place was very clean and we were provided fresh bottles of water every day. The food provided in the morning and the snacks throughout the day were also excellent. There were also some drinks in the fridge provided when we arrived, all free of charge which was an excellent surprise and well appreciated.

This is not a negative against the property but something that should be mentioned, depending on the placement of your suite, it can be loud at times. We had some neighbours upstairs who were more in the going out at night mode than we were and we would hear quite a bit of noise when they got back at night, sometimes past midnight and would keep us up. If you absolutely want peace and quiet maybe asked to be placed on the top floor and away from the main stairway, but again this is not a negative against the property but something that should be mentioned. We also might not have heard anything at all if our neighbours were different.

The property is brilliantly situated, close to beach, the bus stop, the Kilimos ferry and the centre of Pollonia for the restaurants and shops. The property was so clean! Everything felt fresh and well maintained. The pool may be small but is great, the whole thing can be turned into a jacuzzi - a couple of sun beds allow for a nice chill out. We loved the fact that there were a great selection of beach towels, and even floats for kids. The staff are really super friendly, so helpful and want to make your stay special. The breakfast offering is good, varied and fresh.

We hated having to leave!!

The property was adorable, clean, friendly, ideally located and provided everything we needed for our stay. Pollonia is such a beautiful and peaceful little village and we are so glad that we chose this location for our trip to Milos. We wanted a quiet location after fighting the crowds in Italy and this was exactly what we got. It was an easy drive from the port and walkable to all restaurants and a grocery store in the area. The staff was super friendly and we are appreciative of their hospitality. Would highly recommend!

This hotel is heavenly. It is beautiful, the views from the second floor are amazing, from every window. Breakfast was varied and well done. They left it out extra long for my sleepy young adults. The kitchen was well stocked, we made lunch and dinner several times. The pool was nice, but a little on the cold side. The beach near the hotel was our favorite of the island and it was mostly deserted.

It is hard to walk to town because the streets are very narrow and busy. We drove to the parking lot. Everything else was excellent!.

This hotel completely exceeded our expectations! The pictures on line do not do it justice. From the moment you walk on site, you are greeted by colourful florals and greens, arched doorways and bright white walls and the entire hotel is immaculately clean. Our room was spotless and perfectly sized and decorated. Our unit had 4 balconies, all of which were spacious with nice seating and gorgeous French-style doors and windows for each room that you can leave open for a soft breeze. Views of the sea and small boats sailing by were beautiful. The beds were ultra comfy, and all the doors and windows made the place so bright and cheerful. The pastries, snacks and coffee left out in the morning for guests was such a delight! The kids loved the pool and it was larger than expected based on some of the other reviews. Katerina was helpful in giving us a little tour to get to the beach. We loved how easy it was to walk into town, but that at night it was peaceful for bed time with children. Having a kitchen to prep fruit or snacks was very helpful as a young family. This was our favourite hotel from our entire trip to Greece and will recommend it to everyone!

We LOVED everything about this hotel and island!

The staff were over the top helpful, respectful and could not have done more. The property was in an ideal location with very good restaurants with a great variety of quality fresh food.

Please remember that you are on an Island. (We had NO idea of this) Food deliveries are less common, so you can't always buy what you want when you want it. Internet was a big problem (When it worked it was great but it was very sporadic) and there were power outages daily.

Kapetan was a lovely, quiet property. Well located, with a lot of amenities including a pool and a gym, spacious rooms and comfortable balconies. Plenty of parking available, and easy walking distance to the main strip of Pollonia. Absolutely loved the day beds on the balcony - a very relaxing way to spend an afternoon!

The property’s walls aren’t particularly soundproof and our room was off the main stairwell meaning we heard the banging as breakfast was being setup early. The bathroom fans operate via sensor so turn off midway through a shower as you’re not in the sensor’s view.

Everything was perfect. The staff room and location were exactly what was needed. Walking distance from hotel to beach dinners with sunset supermarket etc. nice little quaint fisherman’s town. Breakfast was homemade and sooooooo delicious. Mrs.Stella the one who runs the hotel cooks hugs smiles laughs and is the sweetest woman with the nicest personality. Complimentary water beer soda juice honey jam shampoo conditioner and body wash etc. towels sheets were changed and full staff on point the minute we left the room for the beach. In addition what a wonderful balcony and a great way to spend evenings after dinner or morning coffees. Pool gym towels for the beach all given. Thank you to all the staff at Kapetan Tasos ohhhhhhhh want hugeeeeee parking lot no worries no stress no problems at all.

Amazingly generous one bedroom suite (and comfortable 2 single beds in living area), with two bathrooms perfect for our family of 4. The images do not do this place justice, way better than we anticipated. With sweeping sea views from our balcony, bathroom and living area. The staff are what made this place even more special! The hotels location is also a big win with an easy 3 min stroll to restaurants and the best beach and lovely beach bar just a few mins walk. We will definitely return!

Everything was perfect, perhaps would have liked breakfast included in our stay but not a deal breaker.
