The host was very welcoming. Our glass of sparkling wine in our room was exactly what we needed to relax after a long drive. The suite of rooms were classic French with plenty of style, very comfy bed, lovely sitting area, and a bright and clean bathroom. Breakfast was great, with home made jams and freshly made orange juice. We are looking forward to returning on our next trip. Utterly charming.

Location - not by the sea. But that didn't really matter because the rooms were fantastic and the host was very welcoming.

What a delight! This is a sweet little B&B, the host was simply adorable, such a lovely gentle man. The furnishings and hospitality are classic French. Simple, but wonderfully executed. The Brasserie across the road with its modern interior behind a classic facade was a pleasant surprise, and relatively inexpensive. Very usefully located not far from a Motorway junction in a quiet village, away from Boulogne itself. A great overnight stop. It took us 25 minutes this morning to get to the Shuttle terminal.

The property was in a nice area about 5 miles from Boulogne town centre. It is charming and comfortable. Breakfasts were good with fresh baked patisseries both mornings. The bed was comfortable. Off road parking. The owner is very caring, he wanted to make sure we were comfortable. He also gave us a small bottle of Prosecco on arrival and homemade jam in our departure, a lovely touch.

The shower water was not hot but water from the sink was hot.

This was our second stay here. The accommodation consists of a bedroom, bathroom and a sitting area with TV and tea/coffee making facility. Everything that might be needed is provided complete with a welcoming glass of 'fizz'. Breakfast is copious, fresh and includes delicious home made jams.and a beautifully set out table. The host welcomes with a warm smile and attends to every detail. Our car was safely parked in the house driveway. We will stay again.

It is lovely everything is as described the whole has has a wonderful charm and character Jaques the host is absolutely amazing and could not do enough for us The bedroom suite is lovely and comfortable we had a complementary glass of Prosecco on arrival! The breakfast was divine with homemade delicious jams we even had a complimentary jar of jam given to us to take home when we left

Jacques was an excellent host. A glass of prosecco in the garden on arrival and a little pot of home made jam on departure. The house was typically French & a bit quirky but very likeable. Continental breakfast was excellent. We were also recommended to a superb restaurant in the old quarter of Boulogne. We were able to park on site, a bonus. Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely fantastic! What beautifully decorated accommodation. We are not able to fault anything from the warm welcome from Jacques and his kind welcome drink to the lovely kitchen breakfast the next morning. Would not hesitate to stay again or recommend to others.

There was nothing to dislike.

Charming host in wonderful period house full of interesting paintings, decor and furniture! The room was in fact a suite with bedroom, fully equipped bathroom and a small room between with TV, coffee/tea facility and comfy chairs. The location was quiet with private parking. The continental breakfast was copious with delicious fresh bread and home made preserves. All in all not only an excellent place for a one night stay but also for a longer stay when touring the area. Close to the A16 autoroute and Boulogne.

Very traditional house with lovely stylish antique decorations. Spacious bedrooms. A warm welcome from our host and a welcome glass of sparkling wine in his lovely garden. Exceptional breakfast with coffee, cheese, croissant , home made jams, yogurt and fresh fruit.

No dislikes whatsoever

Staying with Jacques was lovely. From the moment you arrived to the moment you left he made you feel special. The room itself was wonderful with a large bedroom, a parlour with tea and coffee making provided along with wine, cider and soft drinks. The bathroom catered for your every need with a large shower and bathrobes all for your use. It also had a lovely view to the garden. Jacques then arrived to our room with champagne glasses and a mini bottle of fizz on ice and some warm nibbles on a silver tray. The room was beautiful as was the house if a little quirky. There were shutters on the windows so you could get a decent nights sleep and the breakfast was wonderful, orange juice squeezed by Jacques, croissants, Pain au chocolate, morbiere cheese, fresh bread, salted butter (always welcome) homemade preserves, yoghurts, fresh fruits and homemade hot chocolate presented in a silver pot. It was delightful. We left and as a parting gift a little pot of preserves, so kind. As you are his only guest you are well taken care of and I will certainly recommend this gem to others.

The bed suited us but it did have a base at the foot so my husband who is 6ft had to bend a little, it probably would not suit anyone much over 6ft. That aside the room was a delight.
