The hotel is good but the location is a bit difficult the hotel is at the top of the hill and to get there u have to use car, uber, taxi or hotel transfer because is a long way up to go walking if is 30 degrees in Salvador.🥵 My room wasn’t cleaned daily and one day they forgot the toilet bin next to my luggage 😨it was a bit disgusting The hair dryer wasn’t working in my room and I had to go to reception to get a spare dryer every time I want to use it 🙄 The breakfast was good Rooftop view and pool is amazing

Very spacious comfortable room with balcony and sea view. Rooftop bar with amazing views. You have to try the moqueca vista mar de camarão from the room service menu - top notch!

The location is a little awkward. The hotel is sort of on a hill with one road leading down. The beaches around it are gorgeous but there's no services, just beach and hot sun. The nearest beach with parasols and loungers is Praia do Rio Vermelho which you can see in the distance. Lovely beach and worth walking to. It's around a 10-15 min walk.

Fantastic property with beautiful view of the ocean and the city. Everything was clean and felt fairly new. Very comfortable bed and large room. Pool area was great as well with wonderful drinks and service and of course an amazing view. Also had a great view right from our room. Breakfast was great and right below the hotel is an area with several restaurants and live music.

Some people complained about the property being on top of a hill and needing a car ride up and down. We didn’t mind at all and Ubers will pick you up and drop you off at the front. It’s a non issue. The actual neighborhood is a good distance from Barra and the historic center so you will be riding about 20-25 mins to those locations. Also the WiFi is good but can be spotty randomly disconnecting. Breakfast was good but could use more variety.

Great location - very convenient to get places, especially with the shuttle to the bottom of the hill where there are lots of lively restaurants and bars. Beautiful views from the rooftop bar. Spacious rooms

Some difficulties communicating as only a few of the staff speak English, those who do are very helpful though. Pool gets quite dirty quickly when busy, not sure how to fix that though. Rooms at the end of the corridor near the generator can be a little noisy.

Great location, very friendly staff and there even is a free shuttle to take you to/from the hotel and down the long street to a small square with restaurants. Breakfast is particularly exceptional

Rooms are not necessarily soundproof and you can hear the noise from a local school, as well as from furniture being moved at other rooms

The hotel is very nice. Well located, on top of a hill with an open view over the sea and Rio Vermelho district, yet very close to bars, restaurants and shops. The staff was very professional and friendly, especially Bruno at the front desk that was always eager to give extra advice about what to do and see. Good breakfast with different options.

Would be nice to provide free coffee or tea during the whole day. Unexpensive yet a good way to treat costumers.

Breakfast was Beautiful . The swimming pool area was beautiful also.

The TV in the room the apps and Netflix did not work properly. The pool was under maintenance so we only got to enjoy it one day. Try to add an extra beer onto a bill before leaving. When they y charge drinks to your room they don't put the total On the docket in front of you so you don't know what how much they're going to charge you.

We couldn't have asked for a better stay in Novotel Salvador Rio Vermelho, the staff went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable and well looked after especially Bruno Garcia, Joyce and Bruno (just to name a few, they were all great!). They gave us advice on where to visit during our stay, and we even booked a tour from the hotel where they picked us up and drop us back. They also were able to facilitate our request to have our two rooms next door and helped us upgrade to a room with a stunning view of the ocean. We had the best time and we would definitely stay here again! Thank you for such a great trip!

They were some construction going on in the building, but it didn't affect our stay. It was just a bit noisy walking through the hotel at times during the day.

THE LOCATION IS A PLUS NEAR RESTAURANT AND BARS, THE ROOMS ARE COMFORTABLE AND SPACI0US, THE BREAKFAST VERY GOOD THE VIEW FROM THE RESTAURANT AND THE POOL ARE GORGEOUS, THE STAFF ARE VERY FRIENDLY, THE HAVE A BAR IN THE POOL AREA FOR DRINKS AND FOOD, THEY HAVE A FREE SHULTTLE SERVICE TO THE ACCION AREA,,,DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT, WE HAD A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE.
