Very nicely decorated hotel, the room was lovely, the lady who checked us in was warm, friendly, helpful. The products provided- shower gel, shampoo, conditioner etc were very good quality. There is a hairdryer, coffee machine, kettle- very well equipped. They did a really good job of providing storage in a small space- with cupboards for bags and place to hang clothes and coats. AC is a plus.

We arrived for breakfast at 9:45- many items were finished and were not refilled. (Breakfast finishes at 10:30am) The ladies responsible for breakfast were standing in their kitchen which is a step in an open doorway and drying their cutlery etc whilst watching us eat. It felt like we should hurry and leave. There is a lovely historical courtyard which you can visit, but covered in about 1000 cigarette butts- what a shame! The mattress was simply a topper, and the sheet came off both sides in the night.

The hotel is beautiful and well located by the centre. Room was very small but it had everything you need. Same with the bathroom, small but complete. Breakfast was very nice and varied. Bed was really comfy. Coffee and tea in the room was very nice and all toiletries are provided, nice touch!

The staff in general didn’t seem to be engaged. We travel by motorbike and asked if it could stay outside overnight, she didn’t know and also didn’t show any interest. At breakfast we also complained about the air conditioning, was too cold, and nothing was done about it. We saw many guests leaving the room because of that.

Being centrally located within the town of Goes, it was in the absolutely perfect location. So many things to see, do, and restaurants to eat at. The breakfast at the hotel was fresh, and delicious, with plenty of options to choose from.

While there wasn't a restaurant within the hotel, it's not a dislike. They state in their brochure that there are a wide variety of restaurants to choose from nearby. They are not kidding. A variety amount just within a block of the hotel. So, this really isn't a dislike.

Very good breakfast, good position, comfortable beds, nice the coffee pods availabilty. Good shower.

From the photos the room looked a little bit more spacious, actually everything was concentrated, you have just the vital space around the bed to stand up. But for a short stay is not so bad.

One day, the maid forgot to clean one of our rooms. On another day, the cleaning cloth was left on the suitcase. In one of the rooms, the shower head was covered in limescale, which is not very sanitary.

The hotel itself is a treasure in the heart of Goes. The stuff is so kind and helpful at all times. A very good breakfast including a good coffee and fresh orange juice makes it finally perfect.

You need to be careful at the public parking area near the hotel. There are different times free of charge. A fine could be expensive

Had to park the car out a bit further so it would be perfect if you used the train. But you are right in the centre of the town so we didn't use the car at all.

The breakfast was outstanding. The room was very comfortable and clean and the personnel very kind and ready to help and give tips. The location of the hotel is quite central in Goes.

I have nothing really to complain.

Rijks is a charming, recently renovated hotel with character. All facilities were excellent. As a tall person, I particularly liked the spacious and high shower room. An opulent breakfast buffet with small variation between the two nights we stayed provided an excellent start of the day. Location of the hotel is very central, parking facilities (with electric vehicle charging facilities) within a short walking distance. The honesty bar with drinks and snacks provided a nice touch. Price of the hotel is good value for money.

I really have to look with a magnifying glass to find something to comment. Maybe the online check-in procedure was a little convoluted for our particular case (a single family booking two rooms). A nice touch could be to have a drop-off zone in front of the hotel to disembark. But these are really comments beyond the benefit-cost balancing point.

The hotel is really unique, old building but very nice clean room. I got the the room on the 1st floor at the corner, nice quite room. Location is perfect, closed to the city and walking distance to the market and shops. Breakfast buffet was good, enough good selection food.
