Fabulous location, as advertised, and the pool is stunning (and heated). Feel this would be a good base for a long weekend stay to de-stress. Free parking close by, great front desk service, very comfortable, well-appointed rooms. We didn't eat here, choosing to eat local in the pretty village, although breakfast seemed popular with tables on a balcony for the early birds. The chateau nearby does Friday events in season, some of which are dinners I think - the hotel had a list and I believe there is a Saturday market, but check in advance if this is important to you. Btw, some comments mention restricted visibility from high-up windows in their rooms but certainly on floor 1 we had a glimpse into a room overlooking the plain, which had normal windows. Our room overlooking the village was fine and we could keep an eye on the bikes attached to our car.

The Panoramic is a fine modern hotel perched impressively on a cliff looking out on the rolling vineyards of Sancerre. It is worth noting that the rooms with a street view are half the price of the rooms overlooking the vines. The "view" is available from the long public balcony on that side of the hotel where wine can be enjoyed and satisfactory photograph made. We liked the street side as we could keep an eye on our car parked below. There is no secure parking but, at least in October, there were plenty of spaces where parking was perpendicular the the high wall of the hospital grounds. It is a ten minute walk to the top of the hill where there seems to be ample public parking. If you chose Google Maps street view (https://www.google.com/maps/@47.3334938,2.8378884,3a,75y,156.22h,75.22t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1stOuuGjHcCStnu9MWPcBwEg!2e0!6shttps:%2F%2Fstreetviewpixels-pa.googleapis.com%2Fv1%2Fthumbnail%3Fpanoid%3DtOuuGjHcCStnu9MWPcBwEg%26cb_client%3Dmaps_sv.tactile.gps%26w%3D203%26h%3D100%26yaw%3D162.3147%26pitch%3D0%26thumbfov%3D100!7i16384!8i8192) the setup clearly shows the hotel opposite the parking. There is much of interest in restaurants, wine bars, and antique selling at the top of the hill. The attached photos show the Google maps view and the parking across the street. After tasting several pedigrees of the real Sancerre in that balcony, we tried a Pouilly-Fumé which is apparently a generally less tart wine, though still made from the Sauvignon Blanc grape. It was, but ultimately we ended up buying a few bottles of Pouilly-sur-Loire (a separate appellation) in the nearby town of Pouilly-Fumé to take home. This white wine is made from the Chasselas grape and is much less acidic. The curious obsession with the Sauvignon Blanc grape is, one might say thankfully, partially displaced by less acid fruit in the more westerly appellations of the Loire Valley
I did not like the tart "true" Sancerre, but everyone else seems to disagree.

The hotel was ideally situated to walk into the town, so it was possible to walk after wine tasting. Also easy to walk into the valley. We walked to the viaduct and then back via the old railway footpath. The view from the bar / restaurant and balcony over the valley was bearutiful. The bar / balcony was excellent to relax in the evening. The breakfast buffet was very good.
Although the hotel does not have a car park which I considered before booking. There is ample free public parking across the road which was safe and convenient.

I could not fault the hotel the location is outstanding, the room well appointed, reception was friendly and very helpful. The lovely team gave us bottles of water as we arrived (we were on bikes and cycled the huge hill to the hotel) They stored our bikes in a secure storage area. (My only criticism would be that it was an open store so got wet in the rain). Breakfast was good with a nice choice and good coffee. As we stayed off season the food was a little limited in the evening but if good quality. Obviously the wines were outstanding and the staff very knowledgeable about their local specialties. I can’t recommend this place enough. I think in summer this place would be heaven!
My only criticism is the open air store for bikes although it was safe and secure. It was rainy weather when we stayed so had to dry our bikes off before setting off in the morning. I’m sure this wouldn’t be an issue in the summer months. The restaurant menu was limited but suspect in the busier months this would be better

We asked for a country view but they were unable to fulfil that request so we overlooked the carpark and part of the town. Having said that it was an open view and only one night so not a problem. We had a very warm welcome from a really lovely lady on reception who was also very helpful regarding booking a table in a nearby restaurant. The Hotel is in a fabulous elevated position overlooking vineyards and surrounding countryside and is very modern looking. Everything was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was very good with a varied selection to choose from.
Nothing.

Great view over the vineyards and easy parking across the road. Short walk into the town. Pleasant bar.
The vineyard view rooms as shown on the website are an optional cost upgrade. The price advertised is for the "town view" (car park). Evening bar was understaffed / undertrained so took a while to catch the eye of the wait staff behind the bar. Note - all food is of a pre-pepared style e.g. Hummous / terrine so better to dine for main course elsewhere and use the bar menu as a wine pairing accompaniment.

The decor in the room was excellent and very calming. The room was very clean and comfortable. We booked a room on the city side of the building, but it was still interesting. The breakfast had an excellent selection. I was also pleased that they permitted a dog in the room. The view from the bar and breakfast room balcony was stunning over the vineyards and the sunset from that view. There was an elevator and shower for those less mobile.
No restaurant on site, but there were snacks available to purchase.

This is a modern boutique style hotel, wonderfully located on the edge of the wine village of Sancerre. The views from the bar lounge and dining room are magnificent and, of course, there is a first class selection of fine wine at the bar. The restaurant was limited to bar food but there are several excellent options a short walk into the village. The rooms are large, comfortable and well-appointed. There is parking available in a public car park opposite the hotel.

This hotel is all about the fantastic view overlooking the vineyards. Even if cheaper, there is no point in booking a room to the street side at this hotel. The lobby and wine bar are tastefully designed and the pool with the panoramic view is amazing. The rooms on the other hand come across as smallish and a bit bland with limited soundproofing. But it is all about the view after all. If you come by bike, there is a locked bike space next to the main entrance.

a good location close to the town centre. The view out the rear of the hotel is special, from the breakfast room and your room if it is that side of the building. Breakfast was excellent. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The hotel had been recently renovated so everything was fresh. The pool was a welcome option after a hot day on the bike (during June).
no on site parking. Parking out the front, which didn't create any issues. No evening meal option.
