We had a fantastic 2 night stay at The Delfini Hotel. Aggeliki was a fantastic host, welcoming us on arrival and providing us with everything we needed. The room was spacious (even for 3 people) and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was served in the garden and was fresh and delicious. The hotel is located slightly away from the centre of the town, but it is only a few minutes walk to the shops, restaurants and beach. When we left, we forgot to check one of the drawers and unfortunately left behind our car keys and a few other important items. Aggeliki went above and beyond to ensure that these were returned to us, in Athens, before we flew home the next day. A truly exceptional host!

Nothing!

What can I say about the Delfini? What a little oasis of calm and tranquility presided over by the lovely Angeliki. Excellent value for money, rooms are tastefully decorated with a homely feel. The beds were super comfy the mattresses are obviously great quality and pillows too. Some of the best sleeps we've had in Greece for sure. Lovely balconies with views of the pines and palm trees. The bathroom was compact but perfectly serviceable with great water pressure and piping hot water. Breakfasts were great, really lovely quality filter coffee, fresh local bread, delicious yogurt, honey, preserves, eggs, cheeses and ham along with fresh tomatoes and fresh fruit and juices. Having breakfast in the wonderful patio garden area surrounded by beautiful pine trees giving their welcome shade along with so many carefully tended planters with beautiful cactus and other succulents was the perfect start to each morning. The rooms, facilities and breakfast alone are enough to give that Delfini a great recommendation but the final icing on the cake is the owner and hostess of the Delfini, the wonderful Angeliki. As soon as we arrived she made us feel incredibly welcome and at ease. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she went out of her way every day to make sure we had everything we needed. It's absolutely apparent the love, passion and pride Angeliki has for her establishment. She was always smiling and cool under pressure when dealing with a full breakfast service, she had some lovely suggestions for things to do on Aegina and always had time for a friendly chat too. Her hospitality is the best we've ever received and we left feeling like we'd made a new friend. Do not hesitate to book your stay at the Delfini, it's simply the best for service and value for money.

There was nothing we did not like about the Delfini

The room was very spacious with a balcony opening out into the trees so you can hear the bird songs in the morning. The bed was really comfortable and the facilities were really good for the money spent. The hostess was super friendly and gave provided us with recommendations on restaurants and places to visit. The continental breakfast had a good selection of items with fruit and yogurt with honey added to the mix. The location was ideal, just 5 minute walk to the Agia Marina beach and nearby restaurants and shops. I would definitely be visiting Aegina again and would like to stay at Delfini.

The Delfini hotel and Agaliki (no idea how to spell the owners name!) were fantastic! She really couldnt do enough for us, from organising car hire to popping down to town for a food order for us! The hotel is very well kept, in beautiful gardens and a COMFY BED!! The room we had was a lovely size. Not small at all - lots of room. Good air con, TV, bathroom great - despite some complaints about the shower on here - we found it all perfect. VERY CLEAN too! Agaliki clearly takes pride in her hotel and it shows. The breakfast was great every morning. Served in the garden by agaliki. We really did have a very comfortable stay at the delfini. Agia Marina is a lovely resort. We visited towards the end of the season though, so it was quiet. There is a bus that travels to Aegina town - very handy. Lots of bars and restaurants to explore in the resort, which is a 10 minute walk downhill going - but uphill back! Agia marina is also very near to Apollo temple - well worth a visit. We rented a car for a couple of days to explore the island and that was enough time. The beach at agia marina is ok. Pebbly at first going into the sea - but then lovely. The sunbeds were an experience. The first ones you come across charge a fortune to use OR you buy food at their restaurant! The second lot - charged 15 euro - and you couldnt eat your own food or drink! The last lot on the beach were the cheapest at 10 euro - but not comfy! We only used the beach a couple of times - in high season, I'm sure it will be very busy and the sunbeds a premium. We had a lovely few days on Aegina and highly recommend the Delfini hotel.

Lovely little place 10 minutes away from the Agia Marina beach. My girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay at Delfini very much. The room was generous in terms of space and inventory, the balcony nice. Ageliki, the super nice owner of the place, looks after her guests amazingly well, and has answers to all your questions/querries. Moreover, her breakfasts in the morning are rich, tasty and beautiful. Aegina is a relatively small island, where places can be reached easily by car/scooter/bike, so opting for Agia Marina/Delfini hotel as the base for our few nights stay proved to be a great idea! :)) All things considered, this was a great value stay too. Plus, I could not believe how pleasant the early October weather was - who knows, maybe thanks to Zeus... : ) We will do end-of-season vacations from now on...

All good!

Lovely host, looked after usand recommended things to do, organized a rental car which was absolutely neccesary to make the most of the island. Breakfast was excellent. Thus is more like a bed and breakfast than a full hotel but the breakfast itself i though was quite extensive. Bed was comfy, AC was great, everything clean. Great location near the marina. Shady garden area was really nice to sit and enjoy.

I suppose the place is looking like it could do with the odd bit of maintenance. Nothing serious its just not new.

The owner, Aggeliki, is a wonderful host. The terrace and garden around the hotel is beautiful and very peaceful as well. We had breakfast in this area each morning, and it was a highlight for us eating outside in this really pretty and tranquil area to start our day. The Afaia temple is a short hike away, and the beach and center of town is just around the corner. Aggeliki also helped us to hire a rental car, which was a huge help, and she gave us great recommendations for around the island.

Big room with a big balcony, a comfortable bed, a friendly welcome, a decent breakfast. Aircon was strong. The price was lower than most in the area.

The room had no electric outlets near the bed or desk. Even a requested extension cord didn’t solve the problem. The shower only had a handheld spray, no way to hang it from above and no shower curtain. It’s perplexing why these simple fixes are not done. The property is a 7-8 minute walk from the center. Google map location is misleading.

Great location, very large room with balcony overlooking garden, comfy bed and pillows. Breakfast served in the outside patio area was a great start to the day, good choice of eggs, ham, cheese, yoghurt, fruit, fresh coffee! Lovely host always smiling and looked after us. Would definitely recommend this place.

Hand held shower, small area, made room a bit wet but nothing major, soon dried.

The place is beautiful, and the owner is the sweetest person I've ever met. During one of our breakfasts, she surprised us with a small cake for my partner's birthday. The breakfast itself was absolutely delicious. The hotel's location is very convenient, and the cleanliness was impeccable. We slept well thanks to the surrounding trees and the peaceful silence.

I like everything about the place.
