Sarana Hotel and Spa Salazie Reunion Island We stayed at Sarana Hotel in Salazie for two nights. Everything was perfect! We asked for two communicating rooms which is very practical with children. Both rooms had their own very comfortable bathroom. The view from the terraces was breathtaking. The bedding was of a very high quality. The hotel has a spa and a heated outdoor swimming pool. The garden is very pleasant and well maintained. The hotel restaurant is worthy of the finest restaurants. We dined there both days à la carte. Sublime. The breakfast (a la carte) is on a par with the four stars the hotel has to offer. The staff are stylish and attentive to our needs. The mini bar was offered, thank you. We recommend to visit Hellbour and the famous maison Folio. And to have some hiking around. A very big thank you to reception who helped us in our search for a doctor.

It's hard to find a negative point at the Sarana. There aren't any.

The location was lovely, the mountain views from the pool were stunning, and the grounds were overall look and feel of the hotel were all really good. Most of the staff were quite helpful and friendly, but the service, particularily in the dining area, was average at best.

A little disappointed in the communication - were advised to get massages the following day when we checked in, and were looking forward to doing so (Spa is right in the name) only to be informed the spa is closed Wednesdays the following day. Some of the dishes were pretty average, especially for the price.

Amazing pool area surrounded by mountains. Calm and well designed, highly appreciated after hiking! Large choice for breakfast, high quality products.

There is no dining option close by, the restaurant is qualitative but pricey. Some starters at the restaurant are really overpriced. Terrace is not really clean (because of birds…) and staff did not clean it. Feel not great to stay there.

The premises are well situated. The views are absolutely fantastic. Everything there is neat and clean. They really make an effort, the whole personnel.

WiFi did not work. OK I used my portable hotspot. There was a problem with the kitchen bot in quality and organization. That's something you need to settle. People were sending back their belated meals.

Well appointed luxurious accommodation in the cirque de Salazie, everything a tired traveller required to feel welcome, comfortable and spoilt! staff were excellent.

Would have appreciated an iron, but otherwise fabulous.

Ideal for discovering Salazie, Mafate and their surroundings. Very kind staff.
