The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and situated on a large property. There are trails for you to go hiking, indoor pools with sauna, a pretty decent gym that offers yoga and Pilates classes, and a beautiful spa to go for massages. The food is very high quality (for all meals) and the wine list is not large but it is comprehensive (caipirinhas are excellent!). Plenty of "experiences" to choose from, like horseback riding, fondue by the fire place, churrasco on Friday afternoon and wine tasting (this last one we did not get to experience because it was only on Fridays and we did not know at the time). We spent a full 3 days at ORT Hotel without ever leaving the property because there was so much to do and enjoy.

The WIFI is very poor at the hotel. Every 3-5 minutes it would disconnect, which made it annoying to stream anything on our phones. Some locations seem to have wifi better than others, but we did not find a single location in the hotel where the wifi wouldn't disconnect frequently.

1. The environment is warmly and friendly. It’s the best hotel in Brazil that I have ever been. 2. The staff are really excellent. Lara accompanied us visiting the park in Campos do Jordão, we have a good conversation during the visited period. And Peter is good photographer to us. He shoot amazing photos and videos for us. We are surprised his skill. Each video was integrated his fantastic ideas. Huang is patient receptionist, he introduced us the party on Christmas Eve. We are fortunately to join it and having some photos with Santa Claus.

If there is a photographer follow us to shoot the pictures or videos in whole process of riding, and make an official record, that’s will be great experience to each guest. I enjoy the experience of riding horse.

All the staff was pleasant and ready to assist with any request. Hotel was completely upgraded from the old Orotur and really has a totally new configuration and modern vibe. Well decorated, comfortable and spacious rooms. Plenty of different spaces, indoors and outdoors, to relax and enjoy the "mountain atmosphere". The indoor pool, sauna, etc... were very nice and well managed with perhaps a few more square feet would have been better. It seems the hotel continues to build out several minor recreation areas that will make it even better. A very pleasant surprise at the end, as the car was returned washed!

Although we had limited meals at the hotel, two experiences stood out. On the positive side the indoor and outdoor breakfast areas were outstanding with an excellent buffet with additional a la carte choices. On the not-so-great side, we ordered we some friends a cheese platter in the evening that left a lot to desire in regard to freshness and taste. I should have returned it, but it was a bit awkward, as we had recommended the hotel. I believe they felt the same way, not an absolutely horrible experience but not up to standards for this hotel. On a minor note, the bicycles offered need a bit of better upkeep and that I advised.

It’s a beautiful property located up on the mountain in a really quiet place. It will be perfect for someone who appreciates quietness and relaxation. We loved the spa and outdoor pool. Food was delicious and service was great. Also it is possible to rent a mountain bike and play tennis.

The property has an outstanding facilities for a winter experience similar to places in Europe such as Alps or Colorado in the USA. It feels like an ultimate ski resort. I heard they will bring a snow machine to improve even better the whole experience. Really nice Gym and indoor pool with amazing views to the forest. Amazing restaurants and breakfast which by the way, one of the best pizza’s I ever had. Outdoor fireplace is amazing as well as the cozy areas to hang out with family and friends. Can’t say enough for the whole staff, they were super friendly!

It’s hard to say something, overall my family loved it.
