The hotel is a marginally dated three star business hotel with a small lobby, friendly reception staff with a basic understanding of English, the whole affair 14 stories, my room on the ninth floor smallish but adequate, with queen-sized bed, a large window over a nondescript urban landscape, bathroom, shelving unit, television, AC, cabinet, fridge, and small writing table. Everything in the place worked impeccably, the lighting, electrical plugs, fridge, the AC, wifi, and the hot water. A buffet breakfast is available. The place is very clean, located in the entertainment district by City Hall, with loads of restaurants, bars, cafes, also close to the major attractions of the city not far to the north.

The hotel is conveniently located so that I can reach different places quickly within 2-5 min walking. I can find convenient stores nearby such as GS25, 7eleven, Coffee and milk tea shops, various kind of restaurants and stores (cosmetics and medicine) and dental clinic, etc . It takes 3 min to reach the gates of City Hall subway station and easy to find taxi or Daejeon bikes in front of the hotel. The standard room for one person is comfortable with small kitchen and other facilities in good condition. The staffs were nice whenever I asked for a favor. The room and toilet were pretty clean after cleaning.

The bed sheet and pillow covers not really clean made me wonder whether the staffs changed them before I checked in.

Larger room than most in the area, with 3 large windows; large refrigerator; helpful staff - especially the lovely ladies who served a mostly Korean style breakfast that changed daily.

Very hard beds. The only way to watch TV was to sit on straight-backed heavy wooden kitchen chairs - very uncomfortable.

The location was great and very easy to find, close to metro station and restaurants! Room was spacious and had everything I needed, washing machine, fridge, microwave etc. Bed was very comfortable and I slept splendidly. Staff was very helpful and solved every issue I had. They were very welcoming!

The shower water temperature was not easy to control, either too cold or too hot, although I realised the second night that if you switch to the over the top shower head the problem is solve. But I prefer the ordinary shower head instead of the over the top one. There was a half glass partition for the shower but didn’t prevent water splashing everywhere in the bathroom so that was a bit inconvenient. The light and ventilation system of the bathroom would switch off after an hour, I understood it’s a good way to save the environment and energy but it switched off during my shower that frustrated me. Despite these I had a very pleasant stay and it wouldn’t stop me from staying here again!

Great location. Friendly staff. I asked for higher storey and it was provided. Great window view.

Bed is terrible. You literally sleep on the rock(it is very hard) and the sheet is synthetic fabric plus it is on somewhat plastic cover that makes you sweat immediately. Most beds in Korea are like this, unfortunately, and I wonder whose invention was that. Not a hotel fault but just be informed.

There’s a fridge in the room which is convenient. There’s a little entrance area before your actual room. Staff were helpful in calling a taxi for me. I’ve had other hotels where people continue to come into my room after I’ve said I’d prefer no cleaning during my stay, so I appreciated that this hotel didn’t enter my room. It’s close to a metro station.

The location is so convenient. It’s a few minutes walk away from the City Hall metro and bus station, and there are plenty of restaurants, cafes and convenience stores around. There’s also a free washing machine in the room, and a kitchen.

Only minor. There were only two hangers for the clothes lol and no cotton tips provided in the kit.

Excellent location, steps away from a subway station and walking distance from many restaurants, cafes and shops, with a park across the street. The included breakfast offered Korean and Western choices.

Minor inconveniences to an overall comfortable stay: one switch controlled all the overhead lights, so one could not keep living area lights on but turn off sleeping area lights; beds were a bit too firm.

The location was central to getting around the city, and the room came with a washing machine. Very convenient for hiking!

The staff did not really speak english, so communication was not always easy. Breakfast started at 7am, but being Daejeon a conference city, this is not optimal and it would have been nice to have it starting a little earlier.
