The atmosphere. It's not a modern or a flashy hotel but it has a mature and unfussy feeling about it that I liked. Common areas downstairs are comfortable. Reception staff are attentive, for example, when being dropped of by a cab outside, they buzzed us in and then greeted us before we even rang the bell most times. The rooms and en-suite were of a decent size and nicely enough equipped and furnished as you would expect for a 3/4 star. Breakfast was fine. We didn't stay long enough to try the restaurant (though we did eat at an excellent Indian Restaurant called Swadisht, a short cab ride away, which made a very good change from Brazilian fare). For a city hotel, with some sense of history (rare in Brazil) short stay (we were there for the Verde Express) there's not much more you could want.

Stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions. It is a small hotel set in an historic building dating back to the early part of the twentieth century. The building itself is the real jewel in the crown.The Staff just cannot do enough to make your stay memorable. It's location is perfect , close to the city centre. Food first class . Certainly will be back again in the future .

The breakfast is typically Brazilian, and there are many sweet things :) But OK, everything that is necessary is there. We appreciated the kindness of the personnel. We arrived very late at night, and we were still welcomed nicely. The hotel is very stylish and a nice place to stay in Curitiba.

Old, colonial style hotel. Quaint would be best way to describe. We were lucky to secure the bedroom to the front of the property which, despite being grand with huge ceilings, large comfortable bed and 3 grand windows, this proved to be probably the noisiest room as all others were away from the street. Good selection at breakfast served buffet style.

Nothing in particular that we didn't like. Room keys had to be reactivated twice throughout our 3 night stay, annoying more than anything else.

The room had lovely high ceilings. The bed was comfy. The wifi worked well. The breakfast was quite good, especially the desserts. Staff were friendly, and the location is pretty good. Not much to eat at night nearby, though, at least on the weekend. The artwork in the lobby was pretty impressive.

I wish the bathroom would have had dispensers with shampoo, body gel, etc., rather than the tiny bars of soap and the packets of shampoo. A water station where you could fill a thermos would also have been nice.

Charming historic building, nicely renovated while keeping the old charm. Comfortable beds, spacious rooms. Even our room to the front was very quiet. Very helpful and friendly staff. I appreciated the possibility for valet parking. Very good Brazilian breakfast. Would stay there again.

The property was beautiful. The Bedroom was huge! and the bed was very comfortable. Super clean with large windows in a quiet location. The breakfast was amazing. Staff was super friendly and helpful. We also has a delicious dinner in the restaurant. Leonardo always had our car ready!

The breakfast is great and we liked the evening meal featuring 5 soups (canvas). This is a delightful old hotel. Great first floor sitting area with fireplace. Nice that you can order wine or drinks there.

The bedding was not fitted for single beds but, as it was cold, the air conditioner was also a heater

Great place not far from the city center. A big room and a comfortable bed. The room was quite, because not in the front street. Very clean. Great breakfast buffet. Very friendly and English speaking staff. The room

The neighbourhood feels a bit strange during the night, but not specific problems.

Enjoy our stay very much. Good location very clean. I personally really enjoyed the afternoon coffee and the outside garden area. I loved the historical hotel, rooms with tall windows and doors from another "era".
