admission of very little child from 2 to 5 years old that sprang in both swimming-pool and crying. I do not except that in such a Wonderfull wellness stars Spa area where I wanted to relax . I would propose to limit access to little children minimum to some hours so that adults can relax. It should be relaxing area and not stress area.

It was a last minute booking that exceeded all my expectations. The hotel is surrounded by nature and a small river, with beautiful views. It has a lot of amenities, including a bigger inner pool. The rooms were very clean, modern, and spacious with a large balcony with a view to the river and the rail tracks. The area is extremely calm, perfect to rest and to explore the black forest area. Also perfect spot for star-gazing. The staff was very kind and we were offered some beverages upon arrival. The breakfast was excellent, a lot of options to choose from, with some food being cooked right there in the moment. The value for money was also great.

Regarding the stay: there were no additional pillows or bed covers. Location: there are very limited options around the area concerning restaurants or shops.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The food was outstanding—delicious and beautifully presented every time. The spa was truly amazing, offering a peaceful and luxurious escape. What really stood out, though, was the staff—so warm and welcoming, they made me feel like part of the family. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed the facilities, SPA, and the atmosphere very much. We lived in the newly refurnished part, which is quite clean and comfortable.

Although we enjoyed the SPA, the "kinds"/choices of SPA and sauna rooms are very limited. It would be great if the "SPA" hotel could provide more different free SPA options, e.g., different aroma sauna, massage whirlpool.

Beautiful facilities! Family run. Loved the saunas, pool and restaurants. Try their restaurant hut on the hill above town.

Roadside rooms a bit noisy but quiets down later at night.

The whole place was a joy, with very helpful & friendly staff. We had a stunning room, for which the listing photos don't convey the high quality at all. The room, bed, sofa, balcony & bathroom were all perfect. The rooftop was also great, with both stunning pool & sauna being excellent in addition to the many loungers/beds/relaxation spots. Snacks & drinks (order by phone from reception) were good service, but not always kept stocked (& mojito was too strong with not enough mint or ice). The pool bag in the room with sauna/bath towels was really helpful & made it really enjoyable to go to the pool. We didn't try the basement one. Dinner was very good at Schlossberg in the same building & breakfast buffet was luxuriously excellent, with a separate smaller Murgstube room to eat in that was a bit quieter. We went for a nice walk that still got deep into the forest, by walking up the hill across the rail line, behind the hotel.

There was quite a delay in service in both the restaurant (Schlossberg, dinner) & bar (although that was unlucky as the keg needed changing), which together sapped the energy from our evening (roughly 90 minutes extra in the restaurant & 30 in the bar, just spent waiting more than we should have). Still, we were told it was unusual & the staff themselves were very friendly, including a free drink whilst waiting for the beer.
