It was very clean, most everything seemed new, it was quiet, bed and pillows were VERY comfortable, the room and bathroom were spacious. When I arrived the key codes were easy to remember and worked easily, it was nice to not need to check in anywhere or carry around a key. The heat pump was excellent. The housekeeper was very kind and friendly the next morning. Enjoyed the beautiful waterfront and watching the ducks. Overall it was such a pleasant stay and just what I needed late at night driving across the island.

The front lobby had a funny smell, couldn't put my finger on it. But that's the only area I noticed it.

Nice view of the river; large, exceptionally clean and new facilities; large, clean common kitchen with all utensils and appliances (good place to talk with other travelers)--very useful given the paucity of quality eating establishments in town; inexpensive washer and dryer ($1.25 CAD); across the street from the only non-fast-food restaurant in town and near a pond with hiking trail; management very responsive via email and easy to reach by phone; good location as jump-off point to Bonavista peninsula and Terra Nova National Park

Management made an error and booked another guest in our room. At 10:30 pm while we were in bed they used their code to enter our room which woke us up and gave us quite a scare. We called management the next morning and they apologized for the error, but nevertheless one wonders how this could have happened. Guests must be sure to bring EVERYTHING with them that they might need in the kitchen. The only supplies (besides coffee filters, sugar, and creamer) are items that other guests may have left by chance. There are three supermarkets right in town within a few minutes' drive.

The property was easy to find and the setting (right on the water) was pleasant. The contactless entry went very smoothly and the property was very clean and well kept despite the lack of in person staff. We appreciated the availability of laundry facilities.

Suggest adding vending machine for laundry detergent and drier sheets. It's hard to find small amounts of such while traveling.

The room was spacious, and parking was right outside the door, which made unloading and loading very easy. The condition of the furniture in the room was very good........like new.

The window blind in room 1 needs repair. The rod to open and close them did not function.

It was a very clean comfortable property. It is a nice addition to have the common kitchen area, which is very large and well stocked. The bed was super comfortable! Is nicely located in town and also near a Riverview. This is our second stay here and we would highly recommend it!

Location

Renovation. We understand the need to renovate however there were areas of the floor where the rug was being replaced. These areas were covered in glue with no warning signs. For a person carrying luggage it was easy to miss seeing the wet floor..

Large rooms which are accessible - I was on the main floor. I liked that I had a room with easy access to where I had parked my motorcycle overnight. Checkin was very straight forward - received clear instructions and process was quick and easy.

Very easy to get to, quiet, and comfortable. Communication was well done for contactless check in procedure.

There were challenges with the water pressure for showers and using the kitchen sink.

The room was very spacious having a sofa and 2 chairs in the room. The central kitchen was clean and well supplied with kitchen utensils. The location is right on the water and was less expensive than the hotels on the highway.

No complaints.

Clean and comfortable room. Accessable location, right on the water, close to shopping and restaurants. Common kitchen/ dining area, equipped for those wishing to prepare a meal. Be sure to clean up after yourself, the kitchen is equipped for that as well. I enjoyed my stay, feeding the ducks next door.
