Great hotel with spacious rooms and a large, comfortable bed. The breakfast is very good, but the real highlight is the air conditioning—quiet and perfectly comfortable for sleeping. The beach is just a 5–10 minute walk, and the direct train to Barcelona is only 5 minutes away across the street.

Some downsides: the bathroom lacks a toilet brush, and the wardrobe space is limited, only a small section with a safe and a few shelves, the large room could be much better utilized. The bathroom lighting is dim and not ideal for the mirror, (what is for us women very important 😊). The biggest drawback was very poor Wi-Fi; we couldn’t connect at all and eventually gave up. Additionally, there are no nearby shops for basic groceries or beach stands. We missed having a stroll along the waterfront with small stands selling souvenirs, jewelry, and clothes. With such improvements, Mataró could become much more attractive to tourists.

The guy in the reception was not really friendly when we arrive early. We asked to check-in early to be prepared for the wedding on time but it wasn't possible until 14 while some of people were already going to their rooms around 12.. It would be nice if they could informed us in a nicest way only answer was: "it's not ready, we don't know when it will be ready, it's too early to know and some spanish sentences that we don't understand as a tourist.." They should learn hospitality!

It was nice that it was on the water. There were several restaurants very close, which was convenient. I was a little disappointed. There was a convention going on while we were there so the evening we arrive we weren’t able to use the restaurant. We went to the bar had a couple drinks and had some amazing steamed muscles.

Well, being at hotels, we always have luggage. There were no luggage racks in the rooms at least in my room. I don’t wanna put my luggage on the floor. I have to lean over. I went downstairs and asked for one they said they didn’t have them. Surprised the bathroom didn’t have any wash cloths or a small bars of soap at the sink Only in the shower they had body wash, which was nice. Sunrise on the beach were nice.

Over the past 8 years we have stayed in this hotel some ten times, and it remains our favourite in the area. It is an excellent alternative to staying in Barcelona, which is much more expensive, while from this hotel in Mataro, one can easily reach Barcelona by train or car. The parking at a reasonable price and with particularly large parking spots is a notable plus.

The breakfast is OK but could be a bit more varied and the hotel which was very fresh when we started using it in 2016 could be freshened up a bit by now (for example, there are stains on the wall-to-wall carpets in the corriroors), but it is still in OK shape overall.

Nice staff Rooms were great I got the standard ground floor and that was so good. Clean Bed was veryyyyyy big and good sleep Tv works Everything was good No noise Ac worked Nothing bad I booked this very last minute and I’m glad I did, close to the station next to the beach

I booked this hotel hoping for a massage however she was on her holidays would be good if they had two so if one is on vacation they’d have someone to cover. Also another recommendation the pool would be nice if the water was warm for swimming for the evenings as it gets dark quicker so even tho pool is open till 9 the water would be cold.

Nice facilities in a good location for walking to the beach and train station. Hotel was nice inside and felt very quiet. Room was a good size but a bit tight as a family room. Good secure underground parking.

The fridge in the room was dirty and coffee machine did not work. . The property felt ‘soulless’ in places.

The hotel was very comfortable, in a great location by the town's marina (and close to restaurants for evening meals), and had secure underground parking which our group used. The staff were helpful and welcoming. The restaurant was good (we ate there 1 evening out of 4), with the breakfast especially good.

Good as it was, it wasn't cheap.... and I think I would have to weigh up the cost vs. the benefits if I was heading to Mataro again. That said there wasn't anything specific to the hotel I didn't like, so I would recommend it for sure.

The room was comfortable and well equipped. Shower was powerful and good water temperature. Had room with view over Marina - Great watching the boats etc. in the high winds that prevailed during my Stay.. Breakfast choices were very good except for the scrambled egg. Which I feel was made in a big batch and then left to fester in a warming pan in the restaurant.

Air Conditioning appeared to only supply hot air - Maybe a summer and Winter thing but very difficult to get temperature below 25c except by having Window open.

Just perfect breakfasts!!! Everything was so comfortable, supportive staff (especially in the restaurant, they even warmed our child's food in the microwave), very pretty location and excellent view to the port and The sea!! We really enjoyed!

Only paper cups on the room but we asked for a regular tea mugs in the restaurant, so even this was fixed easily:) The style of bed duvets was very frustrating. Bed cover was between 2 bed sheets and it always fell off, very inconvenient.

The staff was amazing, I did not get his name but the gentlman that checked me in on arrival and out on departure was great, I was there to watch the motogp and was in need of a permanent marker in case I had an opportunity for autographs and he loaned me one (which I returned) I was very grateful. The room was neat and clean and the area is a little more quiet than the chaos in Barcelona making driving around and getting too/from the even nice and easy.
