The location is fantastic — just off the beaten path but still very close to everything you want to see and do. The hosts, who live on the property, were incredibly helpful throughout our stay, offering excellent restaurant recommendations and quickly fixing a broken sink pipe (duct tape and all!). They even helped me figure out how to close the blinds, which I didn’t realize were there. Breakfast was a real highlight, with fresh baguette, marmalade, and sweet pastries that started the day off perfectly. The house dogs were lovely companions — especially one who wasn’t allowed in but definitely stole my heart. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, making for a relaxing stay overall.

Nothing I didn't like. If I would want to improve I would add a hairdryer for guests, but that is the only thing I can think of. All in all, a great experience thanks to the beautiful location, cozy room, and kind, attentive owners.

The hosts' dogs and cat were very friendly and well-behaved.

One of the hosts appeared dissatisfied and unapprochabale throughout our stay. For breakfast, only 3 croissants were provided for 2 guests, leaving us to divide them unevenly.

The host went to some effort to accommodate my request to leave early

The host was helpful and nice, there are a couple of nice restaurants in the surrounding. The bathroom is spacious.

One wouldn't expect too much for the price listed, so this is just a precaution, in case relevant: there is no air conditioning and it may be a torture to sleep at night under a too noisy cooler in the warmest months of the year; there is no actual shower holder in the bathtub, so you always have to hold the shower head with one hand; the "breakfast" is not an actual breakfast - just some bakery and coffee/tea, nothing else. Besides that, may be a good choice to stay overnight.

It was pet friendly

We booked a de-luxe room and we got a standard double room. The owner had two dogs, one of them was totally out of control. Too excitable and trying to bite our dog. It got into the main house and into the room. Our mistake since we forgot to lock the main door since we were too busy getting our things and our dog from the car while keeping the crazy dog at bay. Something similar must have happened to the german couple next to our room (they got the deluxe room!) because at 5 in the morning we heard the dog scratching the door. The owner didn't take notice of any of this. Finally, our stay included breakfast but we only got black coffee.
