An excellent choice for Koufonisia! Walking distance from the port ( 10 mins tops) and right across from Ammos beach. The breakfast is limited but the coffee is superb. A family-run hotel, with wonderful staff and walking distance from everything you need. Top Tip: If you want a sunbed (with good food, drinks and a cool vibe) you can hop next door to Lefteris beach club where staff will take brilliant care of you. We were there almost every day! The best concept store Kouf Kouf is around the corner, they have wonderful gifts and bags! And if you want the ultimate Kolokeftedes ( Zucchini fritters ) walk over to Fos Fanari for authentic Greek food. Our Suite was beautiful, the highlight for me were the double sinks!

There is very little not to like about this boutique hotel. A gym would have been nice, but walking around the Island took care of our step count!

Utopia is a boutique hotel located steps away from the port of Koufonisia and Ammos Beach. Everything from the reception area to the rooms and the breakfast terrace are designed in a Mediterranean-style with neutral colors and an informal feel. The rooms are spacious w/ top-notch comfy beds, AC, and an amazing walk-in shower. Breakfast is simple in the good sense of the word - not a lot of options like in cheap buffets, but great quality local products. Location-wise, you are in the best place in town - literally a 2 min walk from the port, where you will be arriving and departing, and less than 5 min away from the main street in town with all the best dining options. Also, you are only a few steps away from Ammos Beach, a great option for taking an early swim before getting your day started or a late afternoon dip before getting ready for dinner. It must also be noted that the staff working there is incredibly friendly. Our ferry to another island was delayed and we had to stay an extra day and they were super helpful with the process, giving us the best advice on how to change our tickets and offering us a room for an extra night at a discount price. I 100% recommend staying in Utopia if you're a couple looking for a stylish yet subtle hotel where you can really rest and feel comfy and at home in your trip to Koufonisia.

We absolutely loved our stay, but if I had to point out areas of improvement, I would say that the floor of the room could be a bit cleaner and that it has no swimming pool.

This was one of those hotels where every detail was thought out. From the color theme of the place, to the style, to the perfume smell of the hotel and so on. We felt so peaceful and happy! It was truly luxury in paradise. It might be a bit more expensive than the options around but it was really worth it if you don’t want anything to bother you during your stay. I read someone said that was the best shower during their trip, and I couldn’t agree more! The pressure, temperature and design of the shower itself was amazing! We loved that the toilet was separate from the shower and the sink, so if someone is showering you can still use the other facilities. We enjoyed the TV as well which had Netflix and prime Tv. Bed and pillows were super comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. And location couldn’t be more perfect with just 1 minute to the beach and 5-10 to the port.

I had the most wonderful experience staying at Utopia! The location is unbeatable – just a one-minute walk to the most beautiful beach, perfect for a relaxing beach getaway. The hotel itself is spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained, providing a peaceful atmosphere.The breakfast was a real highlight, with a great variety of fresh and delicious options that catered to all tastes. The amenities were top as well, from the comfortable rooms to the excellent facilities. It even provides toothpaste and toothbrush!Highly recommend Utopia for anyone looking for a perfect seaside escape! I will definitely be back.

Staff were excellent, friendly and very efficient. Good breakfast and great room with lovely views across beach. Good soundproofing.

Very difficult to find any fault. The only minor point is we left at 5:00pm but (as usual) checked out before lunch. As the resort is 'beach driven' a shower facility would prove very well received and, in the hotel communal toilet there is ample space to install one. Just a thought.

I loved the minimalist style of the property that combined local style. Rooms were comfy and I had a balcony which was nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also included and they made great coffee. The property located is just a couple of minutes walk from the port

The hotel, newly opened, is comfortable and stylish and has a very welcoming atmosphere. Location is great, right at the entrance to the town and overlooking the local beach and bay. The staff are lovely - super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was superb! I would recommend booking one of the larger rooms or suites.

Having just opened a few days earlier there were a few small teething issues and the final touches were still being made during our stay. However this is a beautiful hotel with great service :)

Excellent boutique hotel. Amazing aesthetic, great staff, a unique experience in Koufonisi. The location is unparalleled, by the beach, and next to the town. The personnel assisted us with anything we required, and gave us great tips, greeting us every day with a sunny smile! The aesthetic relaxed and the spacious rooms made our weekly stay a match made in heaven! Highly recommended!!!

It is a modern refurbished hotel newly opened with great aesthetic and amazing staff. The breakfast was small in variety but was the best breakfast I had in a hotel as it was fresh and quality food/well done. The hotel is in the heart of Koufonisi island, meaning closed to the port, and closed to chora which makes it super convenient. The staff was very friendly and professionals. They supported at any level they could, even when we requested to have a wash on my friend’s towel they happily did so.

Maybe tiny bit small changes like the shower was slightly small (was ok for us but for bigger people could be an issue).

Hotel Utopia enjoys a spectacular beach front setting overlooking the astoundingly turquoise sea. The welcoming team of GM John and C.S Yota could not have been more helpful. The hotel itself is a lovely mix of contemporary Greek design and traditional architecture. Great bathrooms and showers and tasteful touches every where. If you would like to visit a paradise island and stay in the next location in town, I would highly recommend this hotel.
