from reading the reviews before i stayed here, it seems the owner/s have made efforts to rectify any problems as things that were mentioned previously like gaps in door/window has been sorted. the bed was comfy, the air con worked well and there was a little fridge to keep water and snacks cold. location is perfect, just a minute walk to the 'main square' of the town and very close to the beach and the lagoon.

there is noise from dogs and chickens nearby, but you're on a rural island - what do you expect! water pressure in the shower isn't great, but again you're on an island with limited water resources - you can't expect much here. the room isn't huge, it wasn't a problem for me as I was alone but it would be too small for 4 people which i presume is the capacity given 2 x double beds. it is up a steep wooden staircase - fine for me, but maybe should be mentioned in the information in case you have mobility issues.

the room was really nice, we love the place, and the room we got, was amazing, highly recommend it. Mattress pretty hard, really good for sleep. you can hear some roosters during the morninbg, but you have everything, one supermarket around the corner, and the beach one minute walking. is maybe one of the best places to stay in Chacahua.

maybe they could clean the floor few times more, and give us more towels. but overall was perfect.

Spacious modern, clean rooms, overall couldn't believe the quality for such a remote and undeveloped place, I would return for sure. Excellent location only around 3 mins walking to the best part of the beach for surfing and swimming. A/C as well as a fan was a great addition. The outdoor area with seats and hammock was great.

As mentioned in other comments the drainage of the shower is really poor, it was basically flooded after 1 night, which attracted mosquitos. Keep in mind there is limited directions provided so you rely on asking locals where it is. But it is a small place so that didn't take too long.

A/C, portable fan and a mini fridge were great! Nice to have a private balcony with some shade. A coffee maker would be great to have in the room.

A broom and dust pan in the room would have been handy. After a few nights there was sand, etc on the floor, There are roosters and chickens around ( Part of the Island charm). Also a bit of early morning construction in the area.

Nice, stylish rooms with wIfi. Bug nets on the beds and AC, both are a must in Chacahua and this seemed to be the only place in the town that had both of these. There are some other way down the beach, but then you’d be very removed from the actual town of Chacahua.

The beds were quite small so we had to sleep in two separate beds.

The room has a mini fridge which comes very handy to keep fruits, water, cold drinks after a long day at the beach. Cabańa Las Palmas has a generator on-hand to power up the mini split (a/c) during power outages.

Can't think of anything I didn't like. The room is perfect to catch a good night sleep and get ready to surf, walk, eat and enjoy Chacahua Island.

Everything was clean, they had a nice hammock, AC, presence of a fridge, staff was nice and a good, central location.

Neighbours woke us up a few times, played music very late and at sunrise. There was also chickens that sang at multiple hours of the night (they do not know they must only do it at sunrise on this island) :) Overall a very nice place to enjoy the Island!

Great room and location. Modern feel. Comfortable beds. Nice to have a mini fridge.

Could have used more bathroom hooks. Were a few places where the windows were slightly separated from the door, letting a few bugs in.

Very close to the beach if you want to surf, it has a fan and also an air conditioner. You have a supermarket at a few steps. Johana and Cristian were very friendly, and eager to help.

The entrance to the place is through a small street which is dirty. Also, during my stay I had people working in the front of my window, it was a bit annoying.

Loved the location and vibe of the place. Very aesthetically pleasing

the AC didnt work properly so it was a bit too hot at night
