Staff was very helpful and accommodating. She will give you a rundown of the town and will give you all the recommendations for the town. It is close to everything, including outdoor recreation. Pet friendly, which was super nice. Good location. Very clean and comfortable for a week stay. The bed was very comfortable for a hotel bed. DirectTV and WiFi. I did list some things I didn't like, but don't let those steer you away from staying here. It was totally worth it! Close to restaurants and Walmart. We plan on returning to the area and will stay here again. It was a great stay!

(Be sure to read the good as well). The breakfast offered consisted of toast or waffles. If you need something more substantial or healthy, you may want to plan to eat out or bring food. There isn't really a nice area to walk your pets. It's mostly gravel and stickers. This is a small town hotel, so work crews stayed here all week. They were pretty good about being quiet in the late evening, but the mornings plan on waking up early.

Rooms were comfortable and clean. Plenty of plugs for charging phones and laptops. Staff was friendly and helpful to the point that they honored our reservations despite the fact that the whole town was without internet and cell phone service when we checked in! If you are looking for no frills, but nice, then this is the place to be! And, the price was good through Booking.com.

The room still needed some minor work (they are in the process of remodeling). The bathroom door didn't close all the way. Hair dryer needed replacing. There's nothing to stop us from coming back.

The front desk girl was friendly and informative. They are remodeling and it is looking nice. Room was clean and comfy

The guys in the room near us were noisy until late and then noises early in the morning. Didn't sleep well . They need curtains that cover the windows better. The lights outside were bright.

The breakfast area in the lobby had a TV that was always on some Crime channel that was ONLY about terrible murders and such. Not a good way to begin the day in peace and quiet and... frankly... stupid. I would not stay there again because of this.

Location was excellent. We were on our way from the Petrified Forest, Arizona to our next stop in Alamagordo, New Mexico and found Socorro a small, quiet town that was ideal for us as we didn't want to drive until the next day. The hotel is already quite old and basic but staff were very helpful and accommodating - loved that most about our stay.

Good bed, clean, loved the giant photos of the cranes at a wildlife refuge nearby, that hung on the walls. Great decor.

Not much of anything for breakfast, as I recall.... Bathroom area small.

TV didn’t work, blankets were really worn, torn a little. Breakfast could have been better, not much to select from.

I enjoyed the waffle. The breakfast was very basic but still it was nice to have hot coffee, fruit, and other items that were quick and easy to prepare and eat.

The wi-fi was slow and the A/C unit was quite loud.

The rooms are clean and well maintained.

The exterior appearance of this motel is not ideal. Painting and paving are needed.
