Breakfast was alright it was usually the same selection every morning with a variety of pastries, yogurt, eggs, sausage and some light veggies and then you could order coffee from the waiters behind the bar which was great. Dinner was great at the resort and very speedy delivery Since the resort is a bit away from the city of Salerno you do have to travel in either by taxi or bus which concerige was very helpful with and prices were reasonable to get into the city and to the port to catch a ferry to amalfi. I think it was a good spot to be away from the busy city and have some peace and quiet with a private beach access. We did use the Marina Beach on our last day and it was perfect, the water was great and the restaurant on that beach had some amazing food! Highly recommend trying the spaghetti with clams

I wish breakfast could change a bit and offer more italian style selection of breakfast considering i saw many locals at the resort rather than tourists. I was a bit surprised that some of the waiters knew very limited English considering its a resort and advertised on Booking.com however we were able to communicate enough to understand what we needed One of the days after visiting Pompei we were unable to grab food as it was a tour so when we got back to the resort a majority of food places including the resort lunch are closed after 2:30-3pm in preparation to reopen for dinner after 6pm so we had to order food and that took about 2 hours to get it delivered which was extremely frustrating.

After 35 hours of travel all I needed was a hot shower and a comfortable bed in a quiet room. Saint Joseph provided both of these. The hotel is built in a "U" shape - balcony for the rooms are on the inside of the "U". Each room gets a view of the beach which is right at the edge of the property. However there is no real privacy on the balconies as everyone is facing each other. I didn't get a chance to use any of the facilities as I simply crashed for the night and left early the next morning. Room was clean and the breakfast was well stocked. I would book again as it was in a convenient location for what I needed at the time, despite it being a few kilometers from the centre of Salerno.

The air conditioning in our room did not seem to work. I turned the setting on to cold but the vent sent out warm air. In the end I turned it off and open the balcony door with the shutters down. It was not ideal but I was too tired to get it sorted by the staff.

The beachfront location was lovely and the communal spaces are very well set out and plentiful. The wooden decks/patios overlooks the beach/ sea and there is a private gate to go down onto the beach. There are plenty of nice seating areas and loungers. The garden areas are very well looked after. The room was spacious and there were plenty of towels and toiletries. It was nice to have a fridge. The breakfast was included in the price and offered the usual continental choices and freshly made coffees. The position of the hotel suited us as we were visiting a relative in the nearby hospital but for some it will be too far out of the centre of Salerno. If this hotel was in the centre it would be a lot more expensive, it is very good value for the seafront position and lovely communal spaces inside and outside.

The room could do with drawers of some sort and more coat hangers. The warm breakfast choices were poor, congealed scrambled egg and undercooked streaky bacon and plain beans.

The rooms are spacious, and very clean (including the linen and towels). The staff was very helpful and friendly. The resort is opposite the sea. In addition, it is about 10/15 minutes' walking distance to a Supermarket (Conad) and restaurants. They also provide internal parking. Breakfast was good and fresh. Upon request, more fresh bread and scrambled eggs were made for us.

Our room had outdoor furniture. However, no cushions were provided to use them. (I did not ask if we could be provided any. Therefore, if I had asked, maybe we would have been given the necessary outdoor cushions.) In addition, we dined at their restaurant twice during our stay. The menu was exactly the same. On our second visit, the variety of food was limited. I also do acknowledge that as a resort, they host events. However, one particular night, the music was slightly loud. Therefore, we could not sleep with the balcony door open.

By the sea but could not go there as it is a private beach, Marina Beach, and full of deck chairs and they charge to go on the beach. Breakfast was good. Room comfortable, aircon good.

Beach charged a fee to go on. Australian beaches are free for anyone to go on. The Marina area was well kept but other areas around hotel are untidy and littered. Littering in Italy is a real problem generally and needs to be seriously addressed, dont seem to care about their surroundings or the environment.

The serenity of the place! Joanna is very helpful, attentive, and accommodating to the needs. Giovanni is very responsive to our needs when I ask for an alternative she/he is very accommodating.🥰😍🤩

About 20 minutes from the city centre however, if you want relaxing and staying on the beach ⛱️ this one is for you.If you prefer city life go within the city near Lungomare Promenade where it is lively and vibrant!

1 or 2 details to be looked at like the toilet flush needed fixing and the wall usb charger that was coming off the wall , the mattress was a bit hard for me but my opinion all the rest was great

The hotel has a beautiful garden and sea view, delicious pastries for breakfast, excellent staff and service. The location of the hotel, on the one hand, is good - quiet, calm, on the other hand, it requires a little more effort if you don't have a car (about 15 minutes on foot from the metro). The hotel has convenient direct access to the paid beach. We are very satisfied with our stay at this hotel.

It's an amazing place. The hotel is close to the beach and has a beautiful garden integrated into the restaurant. The room is large and has a balcony with a marina view. The service is good overall. We met a Brazilian waiter on the team, and she gave us special attention.

The hotel is a bit old, and the room needs some updates. For example, there is no place to dispose of the soap in the shower. Also, there is not a "no disturb plate".

Saint Joseph was a little pleasant surprise . Location might look be a little off , because of the constructions across the street , but once youre in the hotel , the resort feel , the garden , being right on the beach , the restaurants and breakfast , the bar at night , all of them GREAT ! And the staff : two girls in the reception , (don't remember names , scusarmi ) they helped us with recommendation for dinner and even set up an last minute appointment for my wife to do her nails at a salon in town . Loved it! Wish i had more days to enjoy the hotel and Salerno !
