The property is in a 200 year old home with original beams and other features and has been authentically renovated for comfort. There is parking in front of the house on the street. The bed is comfortable and there’s lots of hot water for showers. The breakfast has many options including the traditional Spanish breakfast and delicious French press coffee. The property has a terrace where you can overlook the area and enjoy a glass of wine. It is close to the town of Armedinella which has ancient Roman ruins and a few restaurants.

What a diamond of a place,the rooms are ample in size, really clean,the bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get up in the morning but really glad, I did had a fantastic continental breakfast,on a great terrace,food was plentiful and fresh and tasty,there was no need for lunch afterwards,the host Mark was born to do this role,warm and welcoming and a wealth of knowledge about the local area and further a field,over all a brilliant stay,very well priced and I can't wait to return,thanks for a lovely stay Mark see you in the new year.

Nothing absolutely perfect

Marc was a fabulous welcoming host who offered many ideas to see the best of the province. We needed the break, and the gorgeous view from the deck was the place to chat and relax. A 200 year old restored cottage with many quirky features in the village of Las Rios near the larger town of Almedinilla . Generous with breakfast, coffees, and conversation. Good room sizes with a strong shower and wifi.

Everything is perfect! Nice hotel in rural area of Spain. Room was very clean and comfortable. Mark is very friendly and helpful.

Regulating of temperature in shower was a bit complicated at the beginning (there is external water heater, which is very sensitive), but at the end we got used to it :) Anyway this was small thing and did not disturb us, overall impression was very good!

Mark welcomed me very well. I arrived late and he prepared tea for us. The house is very beautiful and well decorated with antique and traditional pieces. Rooms are spacious and very confortable. The breakfast is very good.

Warmest welcome by owner Mark who was helpful bringing 2 umbrellas for us (it was raining) . Charming host and enjoyable discussions during the very best filling breakfast. We would love to come back. Thanks so much Mark for being the best host. Lovely bedroom.

Mark is a super host! We liked to talk to him and he gave us good advices regarding the surroundings. The house itself very atmospheric with it's own sharm and style, you will feel it from the 1st moment. It's located in a mountain village and is surrounded with a small groomed garden. The breakfast was delicious with coffee, fresh toasts, orange juice, jam, cheese, jamon, oats, so everything you can imagine for a great breakfast. We enjoyed every moment of our stay, many thanks!

A cosy traditional spanish house. I felt instantly at home - more like a house guest that a customer. The biggest bed I've ever slept in. A very good breakfast - only sorry I couldn't eat more. I could park outside in the street. Altogether a very nice exxperience

I didn't realise I needed to let Mark know if I wanted dinner but we got around that perfectly well.

I don't know if we've ever met a host like Mark while travelling. He is so funny, authentic and welcoming and his guesthouse is a little gem just outside of the town of Almedinilla. Mark's comfortable place is about getting away from it all while enjoying his highly appreciated host-skills. Don't look any further and book at Casa Rosa; you won't regret it.
