It was so, so wonderful! We spent new year's eve here and we loved it. Catharina was such a warm and attentive hostess. We got grapes and sparkling wine to celebrate new year's eve and our son got a surprise bag that he enjoyed very much. The room welcomed us with some sweets for the humans and a chew bone for the four-legged family member. Since the dog is not allowed to stay alone in the room, our dog loved this stay as well, because we would take her everywhere with us. We only had one whole day in Carcabuey, which we spent hiking. The area is great for that, really pretty! And Catharina will gladly provide you with maps and recommendations. She even helped us order takeout food when all other places were already closed for new year's, and had a table set for us in the kitchen to have dinner there. The breakfast was delicious and had some changing elements. With breakfast you get great conversations, if you are in the mood for that, or you can just enjoy the nice view from the kitchen window. Last but definitely not least, the beds were really very comfy and even though we only stayed two nights, our beds were made and the room was cared for. I fully recommend this place!!!

Loved the location and the rustic style of the posada.It was so peaceful and quiet. Katarina the host could not have given a friendlier welcome and helped make my stay most enjoyable. Breakfast was excellent. If you are looking for accommodation in the area I can thoroughly recommend the posada. For a small town carcabuey has a lot more to offer than some larger towns I have stayed in.

We really enjoyed our stay. Carcabuey is a lovely town and the locals are really friendly. We liked the apartment, the host was very warm and welcoming and takes good care of the guests and the breakfast was tasty.

The streets can be challenging as they are quite narrow. Just drive slowly.
