The room is 2 story circular shape and the property is modeled after Borobudur temple complex. It is a unique experience to sleep here with all windows open at night seeing outside decor and trees. You feel like sleeping inside a stupa. During the day you can lower the blinds for privacy and shade. The snack treats and breakfast were awesome. Helpful staff and friendly management. I had great experience.

The stairs in the room is a bit steep but it was okay for me. For older people or people with knee problem, this can be a challenge as you sleep upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs. This stairs remind me of the steps in Borobudur temple which is also steep. So if this is okay for you then no problem.

We stayed in 2 different type of villa. One, wooden one and the other with jacuzzi. Both are amazing. Well equipped, spotless clean, amenities and super comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast a la carte is superb with a large choice of western and Indonesian food and for dinner you have again super nice options with really reasonable prices and high quality. But the thing that really impressed ourselves, was the staff, from the owners to every employee we met, they are all natural and truly good persons that made us feel fully heart and at home away home. I would like to name all, Jolan, Andhiko, Kiki, Vivin, Resma, Hafi, Puji, Body and all of the, thank you with all our heart. You make the difference and also are at one the best hotels we have stayed in terms of relation quality. Thank you guys, part of us stays in Le Temole

This is a beautifully designed tranquil oasis near the Main Borobodur temple. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The food is incredible: Michelin star quality: astoundingly good. The design is original but ties in with the temple theme. Walking distance to the Borobodur temple too.

The bed was not the most comfortable. Also, the design of the rooms was unique to reflect the temple idea, but this meant that the bedroom was upstairs and the shower and toilet were downstairs which was not ideal. The stairs were not straight and not that even. The mirror for the oddly-placed sink behind the bed was too low for anyone standing. There was also very little space to put bags and clothes in the upstairs bed area. All in all, the practicality of the design of the villa did not work for an older person like me. Which is sad as it detracted from an otherwise perfect hotel.

it’s a new hotel and the amenities were great. we enjoyed lounging by the restaurant pool, the massage and our own private jacuzzi. any time we wanted something we approached the staff and they would make it happen. they were always friendly and professional. The hotel is extremely well run, only 10min walk from Borobudur temple complex. the food was high end, delicious and abundant. Vegetarian and vegan options exist and the staff is well trained in navigating this.

the location is not central, but if you are in Yogja for Borobudur, Le Temple is an excellent choice

The architecture is stunning. The ambience is luxurious and tranquil. Situated a 10-15 minute walk from the entrance of Borobudur temple. Compared to the other luxury hotels in the area, it offered good value for its price. The staff were friendly and sincere in their service. The sunset from the rooftop is beautiful. They also featured a heated public jacuzzi. Food was good, but portions were small for the price.

For what it strives to be, some of the furniture and finishings seemed to be of lower quality. For instance, the shampoo/conditioner dispenser did not seem to work very well; and it also took a very long time for hair to dry with their hair dryer. The hotel also offered a turndown service, which we appreciated. Part of the service included filling in a form with a selection of additional amenities that could be delivered to our room. While this is a thoughtful gesture, it required additional reminders to the staff to bring the requested amenities to our room. Even then, part of our requests were not fulfilled (for instance, we requested ear plugs as we stayed during Ramadan). However, the minor hiccups did not bother too much and we did very much enjoy our stay.

Staff are really excellent without being overbearing. They were willing to facilitate exceptional requests and were responsive to all of my needs. The hotel is designed like a temple and the rooms are really interestingly designed to mirror stupas. Mine has a massive outdoor Jacuzzi tub large enough for an entire football team!

The only think I did like is that there were a lot of local fires causing some pollution. That isnt the hotels fault in any way and impacts every hotel in the town. It only lasted two nights.

The hotel is beautiful. The design is very unique and stunning and the rooms/stupas are amazing and spacious. I would love to permanently live in one. The beds are super comfortable. The swimming pool is lovely, and a nice warm whirlpool. Rooftop has a great view over the mountains and nature. Service is beyond friendly and helpful. Very short walk to Borobudur, with a beautiful surrounding. Definitely recommend this hotel, especially when visiting Borobudur. We regret not staying here longer.

Beautiful location with landscaped grounds and innovative buildings . A short walk to Borobudur temple . Staff all very helpful and pleasant . They upgraded us as my husband hurt his leg just before we arrived . Beds , pillows very comfortable . Good shower . We weren’t able to do the free activities as we ran out of time ! They posted his bathers that he left behind to Jojga. Just so kind .

We felt the food could offer more Indonesian variety but understand many people may not want that .

The staff are extremely attentive, friendly, and welcoming. They upgraded our room which was a lovely surprise, and even helped us with recommendations for the next city we visited on our trip. The hotel was in a peaceful location and was not very busy at all which gave a very relaxing vibe. It is beautifully designed and maintained. The location is perfect for Borobodur temple, especially since the entrance to the temple has now been moved to the back (new car park and shuttle system) which means it is only ~10 minute walk. Our stupa was well designed with a good shower and comfy bed. The breakfast was by far the best of our two week trip in Indonesia - a great choice and lots of different tasty options. There was also free afternoon tea/snacks which made the stay feel more luxurious. We also got a couples massage which was very good with friendly staff.

The only (very small) downsides were that they asked to fill out a short form before arrival which included asking things like “any allergies”. I stated a nut allergy but there were still nuts in the snacks at afternoon tea and in our room which is fine but makes the form a little redundant. Also it would be good if there were signposts/map of the route to Borobodur temple when walking, although I appreciate this may be out of the hotel’s control.

A little piece of paradise nestled among the rice fields near Borobudur Temple. We stayed for three nights but wished we could have stayed longer. The spa experience was exceptional, and the restaurant offered delicious food with both Western and Indonesian options—the red snapper was particularly outstanding. The hotel's proximity to Borobudur Temple allowed us to walk there easily, which was a huge plus. The villas are architecturally stunning and incredibly spacious. We loved having our own private jacuzzi, and the decor of the villa was beautifully designed. The service throughout our stay was exceptionally attentive—they truly thought of everything. Special thanks to Hendi and Risma for their outstanding service at the restaurant. We enjoyed strolling around the hotel grounds and appreciated the peaceful surroundings. The breakfast was generous with a great variety of options. Highly recommended!
