Resort u Forta is a great choice for those who want to explore this area. The surrounding is beautifull, there is a variety of walking traces around the place and many places acessible via public transport (bus). The room in the lodge (Hájenka) was fantastic, well equipped and clean.

The breakfast was rather average, but you can't have everything ;-) There are not many dinig possibilities around, in fact you can only dine in the restourant in the Lodge or in the Hotel oposite to the place. There aren't also any shops in the neighbourhood.

Cool hotel with rooms located in the main building and in separate and cute cabins. Comfortable and well equipped and good breakfast with friendly staff. The price is incredibly good.

The room had a few quirks. The showerhead was lose and therefore easily fell of the handle. This had happened many times before evidently, as seen from the damage to the showertub. Also the room didnt have central heating so you have to plug in the electric heating, which works excellent by the way. On of the trials leading from the hotel is closes, so you might need to take a little drive before you start your hike. I still recommend it though!

U Fořta is a great base for exploring Bohemian Switzerland. The woman working in the restaurant was amazing - very pleasant serving breakfast and dinner, and even helped us find the right bus to get back to Prague. She is a gem and made our stay much more enjoyable! Our room was comfortable and had a lovely view. Food was great.

It was a little hard to get information from other staff on how things worked. We would have benefited from some printed information in English on trails, amenities, transportation since we came without a car. We were there close to the holidays so maybe it’s better other times.

Very good location (for tours). Very kind, helpful and patient people. Calm, quiet place (yes the walls are thin but we didn't experience any noise on the 2.floor). Breakfast is good and enough. The restaurant (breakfast room also) is just 1 minute walk from the house. I think this restaurant has been open the longest. Most restaurants in Hrensko sent us off at 20:00-20:30. This place closes at 22:00. The view is beautiful, the sound of nature is very good. The bed is also quite comfortable, the mattresses are not old.

I washed brown dirt off the shower wall. The minibar was dirty inside. The shower is little damaged (wrong use), but it is not visible in the pictures on the booking. There are indeed problems with warm water.

Nice place in Bohemian Switzerland. Good value for money. You can start hiking straight from hotel. Mushrooms around hotel. Quiet big room. Good restaurant. Good breakfast. Parking at the hotel.

Look like wet rag was forgotten in the room, I found it on the table, so on arrival terrible smell of dried rag ( like dead rat) met us on opening the door. Room and bathroom were clean, but shower itself needed proper attention and cleaning. Hotel staff tried to fulfil my request for double bed and pushed 2 single beds together. Then we had power sockets and swithes for lamps under pillows

Beautiful and well-located place, very calm, immersed in nature. If you have a car, it's easy to visit the different points of the park. In October the restaurant of the hotel was the only option in the region, but it's a good one, with reasonable prices, we had no need to go elsewhere. The breakfast is fantastic, with several items always replaced by dilligent and nice employees.

Only issue was the bed linen, wich was dirty, with dust and hair from previous guests. I complained at the reception desk - as issues may happen even with the smartest cleaning staff - but I received no attention. He said he couldn't do anything, as it was not possible to get clean linen at that time. I had to take a dirty pillow and bring it down to the receptionist, who finally got clean linen - what was not possible 15 minutes before. I booked a small room, as we're only a couple, but the small room is really small. There's not place for two suitcases around the bed. You must take this into consideration when you book such a room.

This place has become our favorite location for relaxing holidays in the nature. We love the quiet evenings and access to hiking paths just around the corner. Rooms are comfy and equipped with a little kitchen. Fridge is very handy even though filled up as a mini-bar. Breakfast was good especially the home made jams, with log fire on the cold morning.

Bed was very squeaky this time, maybe some screws should be tightened. Coffee at the breakfast was not drinkable.

Young, helpful and super friendly staff! Nice and quiet location with a in-house restaurant (important in that region since there are not many opportunities to eat and the next supermarket is quite some kilometres away). Perfect stay for hikers and nature-lovers. Breakfast also very delicious with a lot to choose from. Thanks for the stay, love from Berlin <3 (Bonus: Local radio built into the bathroom, so you can shower with some local music hits haha :D)

In the middle of nowhere. Great to start hiking tours also close to the boarder, Königstein and other great spots in the Sächsische Schweiz.

In the restaurant that belongs to the hotel the food was great. But we were told that the card terminal doesn’t work so we have to pay in cash. As we didn’t have cash we convinced the waitress to try the card terminal. And it worked without any issues. Next day the guy didn’t let us try. We could pay in EUR instead of CZK but of course with an extra fee of more than 15%! So better bring CZK if you want to dine.

once we'd swapped rooms for one with a terrace we were very happy. Beautiful location, clean, friendly staff. Good breakfast.

The on site restaurant (different to the breakfast salon) was not that good - limited menu - closed early.
