Grounds were lovely, and location was great too. Shower room was warm and a really good size. Lady at breakfast was extremely friendly and helpful, couldn’t do enough for us.

No tea or coffee making facilities in the room was a surprise…..it’s expected these days, especially given the price and high standard of the hotel otherwise.

The location was perfect for us as we had an appointment in Lehrberg. This is a very interesting property, converted from a mill and granary to a modern multi-building hotel. The grounds are lovely, also with seating overlooking adjacent fields. They were very kind in changing our room to one easily accessed by elevator. Good standard German breakfast.

No coffee making facilities in the room, this is not a biggie just go downstairs to the reception where there’s a Nespresso machine

Quiet charming village and the hotel fits nicely into it. Nicely appointed and peaceful both inside and out, staff are friendly (and few) and the booking and entry process efficient and easy. The breakfast was delicious.

No AC means the windows need to stay a crack open and our friend the mosquito made a brief appearance. The coffee could be better, but hey, everything else is great ;)

Super beautiful location. clean & organised. Shower is lovely. The garden is beautiful and the dog Paula is amazing!

You can hear trains passing by all night long if you are a light sleeper. The room has 2 beds put together and easily split apart. It would great if the could place a connecting strip that holds the beds together.

no net on windows and it is next to fields and in the country side, there are lots of mosquitos and insects. now days when summers became very hot an air-condition would have made a great difference and for the rate charged I would have expected it

Breakfast was great - eggs cooked to order, delicious bread rolls, not hard like rocks! Good selection of cold meats and cheese, along with yoghurts, cereal etc. I didn't need anything more!

I arrived after dark, so no reception and the signage was not great. HOWEVER, when I found reception, there was a dual-language print out for me, with my key and all the information I needed to find my room and find breakfast in the morning. Despite all this, the owner came out to check I was ok with everything and confirmed where I could find breakfast. Nice personal touch.

I loved the Hotel Dorfmühle - a gorgeous property, minutes from Ansbach and walking distance to Thai, Italian, and incredible German food. The breakfast was perfectly suited and the rooms were comfy and well-decorated. I will definitely be back

Great location just outside of Ansbach. Beautifully renovated buildings that combine historic architecture with the comfort of modern design. Exceptionally clean rooms with minimalistic but stunning interiors. Amazing views into the countryside. Delicious breakfast and very friendly staff.
