Great facilities Great restaurant especially orchard which had good variety of tasty food

The room service was too slow for simple things like towels, tissue, water etc. I asked for a baby cot when I arrived unfortunately it was not in the room they brought it late with no pillow just a towel! With no mattress a blanket only! One morning the room service person opened the door on our villa at 9:30 AM even though our checkout was at 3:00 pm I asked him why did you open the door he said to check the minibar! This was not acceptable as once we check out you should check the minibar also the guy cannot enter the rooms or the villa without our permission as I have my wife inside and my son.

Pool villa was really nice and very clean. Super comfortable bed. All members of staff were genuinely happy to work there and it showed. Good vibes produce more good vibes. Nice snorkelling 15min away by car.

I knew dining would be expensive but some prices were just ridiculous. Well, on holiday you don’t count.

Was a little bit surprised at the cost of the final bill for a bottle of wine and 2 chicken sandwiches which was a bit disappointing- especially all of the applied taxes

Amazing location. Gorgeous facilities and grounds. Well-thought out theme and design. Friendly, diverse staff. Hybrid of upscale-fancy resort and nature. It doesn't get much better. Near perfect gym and spa. The room design, comfort, coffee and tea bar, and toiletries are all top-notch. Outstanding breakfast. Lovely pool areas. Love the camels.

Food and beverage prices. Ridiculous minibar and room service prices. Slight mildew smell in the room. No dedicated footpaths to enjoy walking around the inner-resort area. The club carts own the paths and feel to have the right-of-way. We were constantly having to move off the paths and out of the way of the club carts.

The area is beautiful and peaceful And the staff specially adanan from the breakfast area he was super helpful and friendly

Just the long drive

Alila Hinu Bay was more than a resort---it was a memorable experience. Stunning architecture harmonises with the landscaping of the grounds and backdrop of the Arabian Sea to one side and mountains to the other side, creating a luxurious oasis of tranquillity. On one of the days we were visited by a caravan of camels 😊! The quality of the food was exceptional. The experience from breakfast to dinner, was enhanced by attentive and friendly staff. Special thanks to Ibrahim for making breakfast delightful, and the new manager for introducing himself to us. My husband and I also enjoyed a professionally done spa treatment that left us feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Special thanks also to housekeepers Sardkarkhan and Rinos for their kind, friendly and impeccable service- never once did they frown when we asked for refills of water, coffee, tea and milk. All the staff member’s dedication to guest satisfaction made us feel truly valued. We left Alila Hinu feeling refreshed and eager to return for our next visit, which for sure will be longer. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality – what a gem of a resort, Highly recommended!

My only comment for improvement would be to also clean the woman's stem room- water settles in the seating areas. I had to wash it out with my bottle water and wipe the seating area before use. An improvement certainly would be having a tap in there as well so that guests can wash down the seating area. This is not a criticism but an idea for improvement- please take it like this.

My husband and I had the most relaxing, romantic holiday here at Alila. We had a villa with a private pool, and a view across the dunes to the ocean. The villa was enormous, with an outdoor bath and dual shower overlooking this feature. The bed was super comfortable, and we ate in most days at the outdoor sunken lounge beside the pool. After a delicious breakfast, where the choices were enormous, we would head to the very well equipped gym, then down to the beach, which we had all to ourselves from mid morning to lunchtime. The ocean water was crystal clear, perfect temperature for swimming, and we enjoyed exploring the rock pools, and watching the hermit & soldier crabs scampering up the beach. The villa pool's water temperature was centrally controlled and a quick phone call could alter it if desired. Of stand out staff wise I have to say were the housekeeping staff, who prepared our room morning and night so beautifully, the discreet pool attendant, and the room service men who brought us our lunch and dinner. They all smiled, engaged with us, and clearly took pride in their work. It was one of the most relaxing holidays we have ever had, and we would highly recommend it.

We had the most incredible stay here, loved every minute of it and would definitely go back. We stayed in the king terrace room, which given it's the lowest grade is stunning and such a lovely, huge room. It felt so luxurious. The staff were so nice and super friendly and helpful. There are two pools and they're both gorgeous, with beautiful cabanas and palm trees lining them. The restaurants were really great, one of us is vegetarian and there were so many options that it was super easy. The included breakfast was also amazing and incredible value. The gym is also good, it's quite a big room and has enough options to keep you entertained for a holiday workout. My husband and I were the only ones in there every time we went in! All in all a 10/10. Loved it, definitely book. And yes - the camels in my photo were just roaming around the site, it was so cool.

Only improvement that I would suggest would be to make the paths for the bike ride clearer and maybe sign posted. They have bikes you can rent to cycle around the resort and go to different viewpoints or the beach etc but we got a little lost trying to figure out what was path and what wasn't! Other than that I genuinely wouldn't change a thing

We loved everything about the hotel. The room was super modern, clean, and had a very comfy, big bed! The pools were relaxing and a great place to chill. The beach is the most real beach we've experienced in the Middle East - the sea is so refreshing. The food was great too - good healthy options at breakfast and two lovely restaurants for dinner. We really enjoyed Sea Salt and the Asian food - it was really authentic and tasty. The gym was very well-equipped and the spa looked lovely, but we didn't have time to book in for a treatment. Finally, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Thanks for a great stay, we will be back!

The staff at the pool and beach could come around more to offer complimentary cold water. The towels at the pool/beach could also be refreshed.

My stay at Alila Hinu Bay in Salalah was truly unforgettable. The staff went above and beyond to make my experience exceptional. Their kindness and helpfulness made my stay incredibly special. A special thank you goes to the remarkable chef, Mr. Ibrahim. His welcoming demeanour and personal attention to the guests made a significant impact on everyone.
