Best aspects of this hotel are the swimming pool - nothing comparable to it across the Dhofer region! Food is decent and the staff are very friendly and nice people. Unfortunately, we were there in a very low season so did not see many guests which is always a nice sight when on holiday. But we still enjoyed ourselves a lot and the team did a great job at helping us settle in! Reception staff were very friendly and I enjoyed speaking with the Manager, to sort out a few booking issues!

Number 1 on the list is proximity so this hotel is a stand-alone property in the middle of 'not much' so Mirbat town (about 10 mins away) has a few restaurants and shops but other than that you have a 20-30 min journey to practically anywhere else. Other than that, I can only suggest that rates during low seasons are reduced to attract more guests. Thanks!

A huge pool to relax in and a beach perfect for snorkeling—we swam with fish and even spotted turtles! The breakfast and dinner were pretty good, and they even offered a great discount. There’s a dedicated room for table tennis, and the main hall is beautifully designed in an Arabian style with rich decorations. Plus, extending checkout by 1.5 hours was super easy.

The hotel is quite far from the city, and it’s definitely no longer a 5-star experience. It’s in need of renovation, with a vibe that feels stuck in the early 2000s. Given that, the price could be more reasonable. They do serve alcohol, though it’s pricey—and the wine comes from a carton. The gym is on the smaller side and could use better air conditioning. No sauna or steam room, either. Overall, it’s a decent hotel, but don’t expect luxury.

The hotel is very nice , stuff are great , Rabie and soha in the breakfast buffet were very nice and kind to also talk about the place and town , i had one comment on house keeping where immediately Mr. Raji the house keeping manager took care and solve my issue and on top he checked second day if all were going well , the receptionist both morning and evening were friendly to us and the kids , its a very nice place for sure The pS room is a very nice idea and “Joy”was very nice and always helped us to understand the games

The location is little far from salalah downtown buts still was ok , sometimes its even a + when you are going back in less traffic than others

Beautiful pool, lovely balcony views, amazing sea side location for a peaceful break far from the city. Friendly staff and very helpful with any changes we wished to make.

Beautiful place if you want to be far from Salalah but if you want to be close to the city, it is over 1 hours drive, so be aware of this when planning. We didnt realise but the staff very kindly agreed to shorten our stay so we could move closer to the city, which made it all good. Also note, in June, the sea is too dangerous to swim in.

Staff service was exceptional. They made us feel very welcome and attended to all our needs and even graded our stay on arrival. The general manager, receptionist, restaurant and cafe staff as well as the room service staff were all outstanding. The pool was fantastic, clean and large enough for families to enjoy and swim. The outdoor jacuzzi was splendid.

The hotel seems like it is in need of some TLC. The childrens outdoor play area was run down and not usable. Although the weather was windy and so swimming in the sea was not an option the beach area itself is shared with the public and so walking around there is a lot of litter, discarded fishing nets, crab cages and plastic bottles. It really did look uninviting and unpleasant. the breakfast options were limited as well as the restaurant evening meal options. But I can't fault the staff they were very helpful and always willing to help

Firstly the location was little far city but good to be away from city buzz. Nice place to relax .especially pool which was big enough and beach . Breakfast was good . Check in and check out was swift . Staff was very helpful especially in arranging the extra blanket and adjusting the sofa bed . Also the staff was courteous to call after forgetting few things after check out.

Wi-Fi was little slow and room was little congested.

We came for the dive club which is in the hotel (extra divers). We don't like big hotel normally, but it's the only hotel in the neighborhood. We were surprised in good. The staff was very friendly and welcomed us with a cake the first day. The location is really nice, next to the sea with a biautiful beach. The Dive Club is really good, amazing diving with a lot of sea life. The plus, we saw dolpohins almost everyday and one day event whales. The Wi-Fi was very good, I had to work a little bite during our stay, and I had no problem with the connection. We didn’t eat everyday at the hotel, but when we did it was good (à la carte or the buffet). They offered us an upgrade for the room and had little attention during the week. It’s is not an easy time with COVID and there is not a lot of customer, but they did very good with a smaller staff. We dived everyday, so we didn't visit a lot, but we did a oneday trip in the aera, and there is beautifull places to visit. We really enjoed our stay.

The hotel is quite big, and there are some rules about where and when you can drink alcohol. It would be nice to have a little introduction to every service available at the hotel in the beginning of the stay and a little orientation about the restaurant and activities of the hotel and the area (maybe also written infos in the room). The spa wasn’t open, but we were informed upon booking. The Bedouin night was really nice on Sunday night, and the food delicious. We could have had more local food in the buffet or menu.

The hotel is overall comfortable. The beds are clean with no smells at all. The breakfast is good but it can be better - other 5stars hotels in Dohfar is really amazing in the breakfast variety and services. I hope the management can put a note to the guests that they should eat all what they put on their plate - lots of waste! The reception are trying to be friendly and smiling but the hotel is completely booked and they were unable to be flexible in checkin and checkout .. so I understand!

The bath door is leaking water which spills lots of water during the bath in the toilet - May be only my room is like that. I didn’t have a good view at all, though was named as an ocean view - the balcony was just above the dining area on the swimming pool, but wasn’t a problem. Otherwise all good. I noticed the perfume shop in the hotel is selling duplicate perfumes including AMPUGE Perfume, which is Oman’s pride brand. The guy is telling the guests the perfumes are testers, but we know the perfume very well, they never produce such perfumes as testers for wide selling. I don’t understand how 5 stars hotel is accepting this.

We had lovely experience with Wyndham staff. The staff was very courteous and helpful with our needs, especially Megha, who was extremely nice to our daughter. They also made our daughter's 2nd bdy memorable by organizing birthday cake for her and more importantly participating in our celebration. If we were to come here again the wonderful staff would be a key reason!

Moisture in the rooms and floors getting wet when you open the balcony door
