The room was very comfortable (king bed, sitting area) and clean, with a partial ocean view.

We were initially given a room on the 2nd floor. After realizing this, I had to go back to reception and ask for a first-floor room, as we are seniors and don't navigate stairs well. As a suggestion, please ask patrons if they are ok with a 2nd floor room, to save time and the hassle of changing it. We had to pay extra for the convenience and the larger bed (king as opposed to queen) but it was worth it.

The room was very cozy and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and the room was neat. The view of the Baie des Chaleurs behind the hotel was the PERFECT way to wake up in the morning. We arrived late (10:30 PM) and Marie stayed at reception until we arrived since we were travelling from Nova Scotia.

The sound on the TV didn't work, but it was hardly a deal breaker since we don't watch a ton of TV anyway

Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable, particularly comfortable we're the beds.It was quiet and we slept well.

There are no breakfast facilities so you have to go out. Fortunately, there's a lovely bakery/cafe about 500 metres away but when that's closed, Tim Hortons is the only other nearby offer and not our idea of a good place to eat.

lovely staff, close to everything you'd need by car, and pretty much by foot as well. i was able to go to the nice little sushi spot nearby, room was super quiet and comfy, it's a motel at the end of the day and the room / vibe reflects that, but it was a NICE motel room especially for the price. i think this place advertises itself as a hotel, not 100% but it does have much more of a small-town motel feel - some of the rooms do have access from outside/their own doors but i believe those rooms are all also accessible via the interior hallway/walkways. rooms feel smaller than a hotel room, but again - literally 1/3 of the price of a hotel room these days.

i have no complaints. some folks in google reviews mention motel style rooms - well, it's a motel for all intents and purposes. i think the name maybe throws some people off but the price should make them realize. wifi was great, room was quiet - bit of a "running water" noise in the wall but nothing loud enough to bother, just something i noticed and disregarded.

There was no breakfast, just coffee, but there is a very nice coffee shop just a couple of minutes away. We loved sitting out back and looking out over the Bay of Chaleur in the evening.

Breakfast would be nice as their sign actually indicates that they have meals.

Large room, lots of parking, very convenient. Lovely lawn with chairs to hang out in, overlooking the Bay. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Back entrance to where the inside rooms were didn’t lock so it felt a bit unsafe. No microwave in the room. We were disappointed to not have a view of the Bay from our room.

Breakfast not included. Andre from front area staff was beyond phenomenal. You have a great employee in him! I opened the window and loved the sounds of the outdoors!

Probably just me but there was a ‘humming’ from behind the tv that only stopped around 3 a.m. I like the quiet.

Nicely updated, quiet and comfortable. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The green space behind the inn was an unexpected bonus. A few chairs scattered about to enjoy lovely views of the water on a beautiful afternoon.

Would have preferred a firmer mattress on the bed.

The room was very clean and comfortable and the front desk staff fantastic. My only complaint is that I was told that I would have a room facing the water but didn't get one, and that I couldn't get the government rate because I booked online. I will know to call the motel directly next time, but would have liked to have known this when booking.

Very convenient, close to restaurants, bike trail. Very quiet, clean. Fridge and coffee maker in room. Lovely location on the Bay, able to walk over the lawn to the beach.

Although wifi was offered, signal dropped every time in the room. We did not try elsewhere. Did ask staff about it but no suggestion offered.
