The lights in the room I had booked didn't work so I was moved (upgraded) to a different one and was very grateful for that, so no complaints there! The person on the desk when I checked in was very helpful. It's a good location.

The lack of staff on the front desk at any time during the evening or weekend was something of a worry. When I checked out on Monday morning, there was nobody on the desk so I just left the room key and went. It felt generally very thin on the service aspect. Perhaps not servicing the room is part of the operation model, and this is reflected in the price. For an Art hotel, there didn't seem to be much art on show. A few more pictures would make the place look less clinical.

The greeting from the girl on reception was stunning, so friendly, helpful, informative and happy, a huge smile which created a huge smile and good feeling from the off. A very short walk up the road and you are in a wonderful park right by a small river with fish and birds, plenty to relax and a step beyond the park And you are in the pretty city centre. Wonderful place to stay.

The walk from the station passes through some not bad but hardly pretty parts of town under the flyover, its not a disaster but I remember thinking, oh no, as I walked along it, thankfully on arrival you find out about the lovely routes to take and dont use that side of the area again.

The penthouse is exceptional value for the money. It is very spacious and it is created with good taste and care to the details. The roof terrasse is just fantastic facing toward the quiet lovely backyard. The furniture is comfortable both inside and outside. The lobby was also so cosy and lovely to be able to pick up a few snacks. The portier was super friendly and helpful.

I don’t wish to be nitpicking, since it really is such a lovely hotel. The kitchen could be better cleaned, and a lot of left behind things in the drawers eg. a cigaret, should be removed.

The location of the hotel was walking distance to the historic town. Trams were available within walking distance that can take you to every part of town and easy to navigate. The hotel is on a direct tram line from the airport and main line station if you don't like to walk. You can buy tickets either on the tram or at a pay point prior to a journey at larger stations or via the FahrPlanner app which you can download. They also run quite late. Our flights arrived very late in the evening and late check in was made available via a pin code. Our early check out required no interaction as room key cards could be deposited. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and you can choose when to have it cleaned by placing the available card on the outside of the door handle. There is also a room safe large enough to store a laptop with simple instructions in English. Free wifi was available with connection instructions in the room. Extensive TV channels were available and also in English. The shower room and bathroom both had magnifying mirrors which was great for applying makeup. There is also a hairdryer available. The hotel offered an extensive choice of breakfast. As one member of our group was gluten free, this was added to special requests on the booking and gluten free rolls were brought to our breakfast table. The hotel did not offer evening meals, however this is really not necessary as there was so much on offer in town with a Market Halle/food court very close by that catered for every imaginable food taste. If you like Christmas decorations there is a beautiful Christmas shop open all year round in the 'Schnor' which sells the most beautiful items. If you can get by with a little German language this will be well received everywhere. I have previously visited Bremen around Christmas time and found the Christmas Market to be lovely. Many of the vendors speak English and the glühwein plentiful.

Whilst the beds were very comfortable, more pillows would have been even better as only one very thin pillow was provided per bed. The Wifi was a bit sketchy at times. The walk from the tram stop to the hotel was straightforward, however, despite safe the walk beside the river on route late at night can feel a little eerie as its dark, and not well lit.

Home. Friendship. Security. Art. Professionalism. You will feel all the words above in this place. You will be welcomed with Niels, and then the rest of the personnel will make you feel at home. Not enough? The artistic touches will enrich your horizon and give you fruitful feeling. Rested there feeing all these for 4 days and worked with my artist friends in their beautiful common areas decorated with deep artistic materials. It is a duration of your time that will take you back in this place. I'm positive they will enlarge other details such as gym, sauna etc. Thank you Niels and the rest of the personnel during my stay. Comfortable room, looking better than in photos. Complementary water in the room, free coffee and tea in the dining area all day long. Decent breakfast (especially good, when the elder woman is in charge - greetings!). Good location. Possibility of early check-in.

One of our group needed second pillow due to health issues. We have found it in the closet, but is was without pillow cover. We have stayed for free nights and our room was tidied up each day, but the additional pillow (that was clearly used) did not get covered. The younger woman managing the dining area always looked like she was late for something, on her watching hot food was not refilled, she was picking up half full dishes from the tables where people were still eating.

Staff were exceptional. Free coffee (and tea) in the morning. Buffet breakfast was good. Room is ‘roomy’ and well laid out. Good proximity (walking distance) to different parts of the city

The area of the city is fairly low socio-economic, extremely noticeable at night. If you’re a solo female traveller I would reconsider (nothing agains the hotel, just reality of travel). Unfortunately my sleep was not great at the hotel each night, the pillows are crazy soft and the aircon was quite noisy. I still enjoyed my stay due to the awesome staff, walking distance during the day to cool spots and parking.

The staff were lovely and friendly. They have a garage so if you are traveling by bike it's locked up safe Rooms are lovely and comfy.

There was a good range of quality foods at breakfast. All the cheese was touching all the meat so no good for vegetarians , please keep it separate. But honestly there was so much choice I just had other things.

Great location. Very spacy room and good service, perfect cleaning. Breakfast just excellent - a lot of vegetables, good choice of cheese and pastry, fantastic bread (also brezels!), fruit, sausages... just name it! Good choice of coffee and last but not least fine service (very professional and friendly lady - quite alone!). And we were lucky to get a very hearty welcome by young and beautiful female receptionist - so you really wish to come again and again, she's the person to make your day, for sure! A very good experience, indeed. Thanks to the whole staff of this nice and cosy hotel :)

Everything was great!

It's an old-fashioned building which was probably made into a hotel by combining a few apartments together and there's a certain charm to it. The reception was very detailed and helpful including a special parking space. The room was equipped with everything necessary although it looks very old-fashioned. Breakfast seemed small but was actually very tasty with many homemade options/ Altogether it was a good stay.
