The hotel is centrally located at the main railway station. The room was practically functional and had everything you need for a short stay. Good for larger groups and travellers passing through. Friendly staff at check-in.

Unfortunately, there was no longer a minibar in the room. The minibars have been removed from all rooms on the grounds that they want to be more sustainable. Medication or similar products can be left at reception to be cooled in a separate fridge. Less practical if you are already in bed and can't call reception as there are no phones in the room. My mobile phone wasn't working. There was no solution. Many homeless people and people in need of help stay in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. Less ideal for families with children.

The location of the hotel is perfect, right next to the Bremen central station. It is also within a few minutes walk from the old town and the city centre, and has also buses and trams that go everywhere in the city right across from the main entrance. The staff were great, always very nice, helpful and respectful. The room was big, spacious and with everything needed for a good stay there. The breakfast was very good and plentiful as well.

The only downside to this hotel are the pillows, which are so thin and uncomfortable that they are basically non-existent, making sleeping quite difficult and uncomfortable. Otherwise, everything else was great.

Superb breakfast, great location (next to the main station), confortable room, good value for money.

While I didn't face any stressful situation, the neighborhood didn't seem super safe at night: it certainly has it share of homeless people, beggars or drug dealers (at times loud if the room window was open). The main station, nearby, had policemen at all times, the streets not so much. I didn't feel much confidence in walking around at late hours.

The comfort and convenience. The staff was relaxed and very kind. The rooms were very good value for money. The room temperature was excellent: not cold, not too hot. The mattress was quite comfortable. I slept well.

Little that the hotel can do about. The hotel is located at the main train station in Bremen. It is a problem area because there are lots of homeless people, as well as drunks and junkies around. I did not sense danger. All of those people were relatively well behaved and the police controls the area well, but it is somewhat unpleasant. Then, there is the problem of lack of hotel parking. One can go to nearby parking lots, with very decent daily rates. The problem is that the area is quite seedy around the parking lots and one is somewhat put off. As it turned out, and because I know the city, I chose to park my car in a calm neighborhood, a few km. away, where, exceptionally, no resident permit was required and where there were no meters.

Breakfast is expensive but there are plenty of good value alternatives in the adjacent rail station. We do not use hotel bars but notices in the lifts showed that the hotel bar was rarely (if ever) open. Daily room cleaning is not automatic but a brief word with reception secures it. InterCity once provided guests with a ticket for local buses and trams. This is now restricted to members of their regular customer schemes.

Location of the hotel is perfect, just next to the main train station and 10 - 15 minutes casual walk to the city centre. The rooms are extra clean, spacious, beds are comfortable, staff are polite. We also received free ticket for every type of public transportation (trains, trams, busees etc) which was valid and unlimited for all days of our stay in Bremen. Free wifi in the rooms is of extraordinary quality. Although it is near the station, absolutely no noise can be heard. We didn't have booked any breakfast durring our stay, so I can;t say anything about it.

Nothing to mention

Personnel were nice, room was tidy and had a nice bathroom. All toiletries included, appliances working. Hotels location next to central station is also plus - everything is very close. Old town, shops, transport.

Room cleaning never happened, unsure if we had to do something for it ( if so it should be told while checking in). Not that it was a very huge problem, but after 4 days in hotel some room maintenance is needed. :) Biggest and only real minus in my eyes was a pillow, just one and flat, quite uncomfortable for sleeping for those who are used to more support. Hotel is located next to central station which happens to be a place where a lot of people with addictions hang out. Had no issues with them, but did not feel comfortable to go out at night.

Location was great; bedroom was a good size. Bathroom was sparkling and shower had plenty of hot water. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty.

There were empty beer and water bottles in our room, left behind by previous guests (we assume). The towels were worn, and one had a hole. There was a kettle with tea, coffee etc, but no cups to make it in. We let the gentleman at Reception know, but nothing was done. On our departure we spoke again to the same gentleman who was deeply embarrassed that the issues we had pointed out had not been addressed. He adjusted our bill to give us breakfast for free in compensation.

Nice rooms occupied with electric kettle, you can anytime prepare tee or coffee. After online wifi registration you will receive daily ticket for public transport for free. This I found extremely friendly offer from hotel, which saved my time and money also (otherwice I was ready to go by taxi at the end of city for 28 EUR one way) Than I did the same trip by bus with ticket from hotel for free. Daily ticket itself is worth of 8 EUR/day. I was with Intercity Hotel Bremen very satisfied and would be happy to be there again.

Amazing prices (I think I got a really super deal though, around 50 euros?). Right next to the train station, which can be a good or bad thing depending.

Not an issue with the hotel but it seems the German police are not very strict in controlling the rougher elements that hand around this area at night. Don't leave a bike outside for the night!
