Great location a couple of minutes walk from the train station and also easy walk to the center with historic sights, shops, and restaurants. Great breakfast buffet with vegan and vegetarian choices and a lot of seating space. Great guest kitchen to prepare our own food late at night. Good guest laundry with an app to control the washer and dryer. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are only cleaned when you request the day before. It is very family friendly with several pleay areas for young children.

The room is basic but functional. The air conditioning could not quite keep up with the 30C summer heat. It is a very noisy neighborhood nighttime with sirens, honking, and shouting well past midnight.

The bus stop is right outside the entrance, and it’s about a 10-minute walk to Bremen Central Bus Station, making the location convenient. The ground floor offers light snacks, drinks, and postcards (cashless payment only). The front desk staff spoke fluent English and handled everything efficiently. For the limited space available, the public facilities are well-planned, and there’s even a play area for children. Although I booked a single room, I was assigned a triple room—perhaps a random case, but it made my stay even happier! Plenty of power outlets, and overall, a very good hostel experience.

Being close to the station means there is some traffic noise. The hostel is next to the bus stop, so you need to take a detour to access the parking lot. Parking spaces are very limited, so most of the time you’ll have to unload your luggage first and then find parking elsewhere. The mattress is on the thin side and had shifted by morning (though it didn’t affect my stay).

I was scared because of some of the feedback i read only after I had booked. But it turned out they were all full of cr*p. When i showed up at the location I was greeted by one of the most friendly staff of any hotel I've stayed in. The rooms were VERY clean and comfortable. Very fun arcade games in the lobby as well. The wifi was fast and stable (not disconnecting or requiring re-login). This was important for me as i still needed to tend to work. The rooms are VERY quiet and temperature controlled. The location is less than 100m from the train station and smack in the middle of everything.

I've got a room on the 7th floor, which gave a nice view on the Hbf trains, as well as to the sunset. The soundproofing was OK. The room had enough space, had a couch as well, so the facilities was OK too. It is near to the train station.

The bed was not the comfiest. The breakfast did its job, but was boring (I'm sorry to say that, especially that they are paying attention to offer vegan choices). And at some shared spaces in the hotel, the cleanliness could have been better - I know, the guests could have paid more attention to that too, but still.

Meininger Hotel was a great stay; it was very clean and comfortable and the staff were very nice. For our needs particularly what we liked best was the location. It was a very short walk from the train station, and a maximum 10 minute walk from the city center.

The only thing I could complain about is their breakfast. Unfortunately it was slightly lacking, but good enough to have that first meal of the day. One morning we went to get breakfast 1 hour before ending time and they didn't have any beans or eggs left (only breads and cheeses and hams). I was waiting hoping that they would replenish the stock but they didn't; I was stuck eating a sandwich, which, as a prediabetic, wasn't a good option for me.

Great location, very close to train station and long-distance buses. Silent room, good bathroom, everything very clean and modern. Feeling of safety with key-card locked elevator and doors on the staircase.

Luggage can be left at the hotel in payed boxes before check-in, but the hours are rigid and I ended up not using it, fearing I'd be late to pick it up and pay much more for it. Beds were way too close to each other in the shared room, closer than I experienced from shelters on the camino, rather uncomfortable.

Very central location. Few mins walk for main train station, tram stops, and bus station is just in front of the hotel entrance! Beautiful Bremen’s Bürgerpark is also within walking distance. Guest kitchen and laundry facilities are added bonus and we are absolutely delighted with that. Very family friendly hotel. Highly recommend.

We stayed during school holidays, so few teenagers are a bit loud in the morning and at night.

We stayed in a quadruple room (one bunk and 2 single beds that can be moved together). The room was super clean and well noise-insulated (quiet despite central location). Comfortable beds with pristine bed linen and plenty of towels. Lovely large modern clean showers with great water pressure. The room was well designed in terms of hanging spaces in bathroom and living area (often lacking in other hotels), with good lighting and well- placed plug/ charging points. There is no carpet, but hard flooring, but I prefer this as it can be cleaned effectively and avoids problems with stuffy/ stained carpets often found in other hotels. The reception is open and staffed 24/7 (very useful as we arrived at 2.30am) and staff are really friendly and helpful. I got fast and helpful responses via booking.com messaging regarding local parking and check-in. The location is great (very central at the central bus station a few steps from the train station). There is a very new, clean and secure multi-storey car park right next door (ensure you use the upper levels via the ramp as the lower level is super-expensive!) - where you can park for €5 per day. There is a small communal kitchen area to make tea, which includes a microwave and a fridge which is useful. The optional breakfast buffet is ca €14 per Person and is small but decent with nice staff that re-stock. I love the Meininger as a stop-over base as it's well located, super-clean with great value for money (for a family of 4). Will definitely stay again if travelling through.

Nothing, can't fault it!

Everything is in order, good temperature, great location: very close to the Hbf and centre, but also fairly quiet outside even with a window opened at night. There is a single desk and a single chair in the room, and three separate beds with individual linen. Two of them are next to each other, essentially a double bed. Think of a hostel room for three, but just for you. There is a 24/7 kitchen with a shared microwave/kettle/fridge/probably something else on a separate floor, no need to ask someone for hot water.

Just make sure you really slam and push the room door. We apparently did not shut the room door properly the second night, so even though the deadbolt was closed, the latch itself was few millimeters from where it should be and did not engage. Hence, the door was opened despite looking closed, and we were woken up at 5am by a drunk person from another room who entered our room accidentally (probably because it was very close to the elevator). He used a toilet, I showed them room number, they got surprised and wandered away looking for their room. I suspect they were not concerned by us because it's typically a hostel where strangers share rooms, and we had a spare bed.

The Hotel offers a modern and budget-friendly stay, just a short walk from the central train station and the key attractions like the Town Hall and the Schnoor district. The room was clean and comfortable, friendly staff, and excellent value for money. The breakfast buffet is varied and reasonably priced, and the overall atmosphere is welcoming and casual. Perfect for a short city break or concert visits.
