Suites Obelisk is amazing! We had a suite that had a large bedroom and an even larger living room + dining area + kitchen. It even had a washer-dryer. Everything was very clean, modern and working perfectly. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to make us comfortable. The location was awesome as well, with a 3-min walk to a large number of top notch restaurants. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who’s traveling to Mexico City for a vacation.

To be honest, there wasn’t much I didn’t like. If I were really picky, I’d say that it would have been nice if the restaurant were open for lunch & dinner, not just breakfast.

We booked the suite, it was great! just what we needed. It's comfortable, clean, and super convenient location-wise. It was my first time staying there, but I will definitely book there again. Especially if I am planning to stay for more than 4 days.

The gym is quite limited, however there are weights a treadmill and a multifunction cable machine which would do the trick. as for the gym schedule. The breakfast is decent however quite limited, but it was better than nothing especially on Dec 25 when everything was closed.

Location

Everything was excellent. One thing that I do want to say the waiter Mario needs to improve his demeanor towards customers. He is excellent at what he does but I did not find him to be polite. A couple of times I had gone to the breakfast room early to get hot water but he must hv thought I am coming to eat early and his whole attitude was rude. Regardless my friend and I did give him a tip on our last day. Front desk staff was awesome. I almost didn’t want to write about Mario which is why this review is so late but it’s good to give this feedback so he can be aware of it.

Location is amazing in Polanco, walking distance from great bars and restaurants and walking distance from the touristic bus stop. Though the street is a little dark, security at the hotel is always on and staff is nice

The fact that there is a stair to get in the property is terrible for luggage. Also not so nice that the windows of the room head to the corridor. Since the rooms don't have air conditioning, it means you leave windows open and though the guests are nice, it does wonder on real security.

I loved the staff. They were helpful and very polite and spoke english. The hotel is gated and guarded all day and night. It has multiple patio areas for relaxing and enjoying the weather. The location was perfect, easy walking to shops and parks and the Auditorial Nacional. I walked to the Auditorio and rode the tour bus every day.

Room was a bit old Window on the courtyard so need to keep curtains closed for privacy Small extra charge for "breakfast service" - very tiny amount but would have been good to be indicated when booking Breakfast was ok but not great - better to eat outside

You will feel like you’re in Europe in this property! The room is simple and extremely clean. The staff is above and beyond friendly and helpful! The breakfast was outstanding! Papaya with cottage cheese! Who would have thought this combo was so delicious! ??The coffee is amazing and the restaurants nearby are fabulous. Don’t stay at a fancy large hotel! My friends stayed at the W and were not impressed. They didn’t get the local vibe like me! What an amazing 3 nites! I will definitely be coming back with my husband! Cheers to Suites

Great location free breakfast is a nice touch generally a very clean hotel with some good staff. Will use again for concerts and going into Polanco

One had one problem we arrived just after 3 pm but we had to wait over 30 minutes for a room to be allocated, but no apology given or information updated. That was not good service in my opinion

Elegant, classy and in a very good area. The staff is so kind and welcoming. The rooms are wonderful. I had an amazing experience with my family. The internet is full speed, the water comes out of the shower instantly hot. The beds are so comfortable and spacious. I would love to stay here again. Wonderful

The bathroom door hinge was broken, so that could be fixed for the nest guest, but it’s a minor detail

It was located close to some excellent restaurants and was walking distance from the concert venue we were seeing concerts in.

The noise levels were a bit high. The doors were very thin and there was a bit of street noise. Some attention to thicker doors and some soundproofing facing the street would work wonders.
