The property was modern, impressive, spacious and perfectly located for our business trip. The restaurant was sensational and the food was super impressive. The room itself was large with a great bathroom. Just a shame that there was no English speaking tv channels, but this wasn’t a huge issue.
The downfall of this hotel is the lack of any English speaking staff! You would expect that after all the effort put into building such a beautiful, modern international hotel like the Pullman in Shuitou, provisions would have be3n made for at least one English speaking staff member at reception at all times. This is a huge failure and many people I’d spoken to about it agree. The staff are very inexperienced, even arranging collection of laundry was an effort. If the hotel got this right it would be almost perfect.
