Having stated multiple times in Radisson Blu chain of hotels in the UK (particularly Manchester airport) and in Europe (mainly Nordic countries) , we were quite happy with the property in Guwahati. However, usually they are located in close proximity with the airport but this was close but not that close. The staff at the reception and restaurants were very courteous. The buffet spread for breakfast and dinner was good as was the set menu at The Kabab Factory. The staff at the Salon and Spa were were efficient and the ambience was nice. This was our third stay at Radisson Blu Guwahati and it was a good one. Would like to take the name of Ngipwan from The Kabab Factory for her excellent service.

I would have liked to see an attractively decorated Assamese counter serving ‘Jolpaan’ (Assamese breakfast). In every state specially down south, they have their own authentic food served. In fact, I spoke to the manager Borak, and he said that the guests do not have it. Never mind, a huge set up like Radisson can afford to keep small portions even if that goes waste, but if you do not keep it, you are disregarding the cuisine of the very state you are doing business in. Similarly, at least one authentic Assamese dish should be included in the buffet menu too. Being an Assamese, I cultivated the taste for Dosa and Idli… Others should be given the opportunity to do that too.

The Rooms were of very good size and Very comfortable. In general the food and spread of the breakfast buffet was good. The Front Desk Team were courteous and had a pleasant demeanour.

Had a dinner at the Great Kebab Factory was a bit let down. the Non-Veg Kebabs were good, but the Bread options was just ok. The deserts were a let down. House keeping was a tad slow, took repeated calls for replenishing the toiletries and towels.

Had ordered Gobi Partha and 2 pieces costed Rs 1650. As per normal standard each plate is supposed to be of 2 pieces of partha and that cost would have been Rs 825 and that is reasonable. All your food items for a person...Biryani is of the range of Rs 800 to Rs 1000 per plate and that is reasonable for a premium hotel. I stay at least a week every month on similar category hotels and no where , 2 pieces of Partha costs 1650. This needs review and revert back to me.

Everything was good. Property, location, excellent staff at front desk as well as in Restaurant and overall a very pleasant stay

Very high priced buffet options and too much food that no sane person can even taste all. Keep lesser and healthier food options rathern than too many and very rich food. Reduce buffet prices by 50% as I am sure they are wasting lot of food and recovering cost from customer for such wastage.

Convenient location for transit purposes. Modern amenities. Decent food choices. Good rooms.

Normally when we book, we have to categorically ask for smoking rooms. Here it was the other way round. It seems because the general hotel traffic seems to demand more smoking rooms, so they have more smoking rooms dedicated. When me and my family got there, we had to take rooms we did not want (twin bed instead of double bed) because most of the rooms were smoking and very limited non-smoking.

We stayed in Radisson Blu hotel twice in two occasions in last two weeks. Booked two rooms for family. Rooms were comfy. Room service were excellent. Morning breakfast was full of lot of options. We enjoyed breakfast everyday. They had lot of varieties breakfast food options. Servers were very nice and humble. My family enjoyed the foods very much. Bell boy service was excellent.

Would request Radisson Blu to clean spider webs in the bathroom. It's not visible from inside the bathroom but visible from outside - bedroom the bed side which is next closet to the glass pane of the bathroom side. Also, would recommend to check person's room number key envelope to verify the room number while they are eating in cafe-dine-in specifically. Our room bill was charged for cafe-dine-in which we didn't eat. Looks like someone ate food in cafe-dine-in area with check billed to our room. Found this error in the final bill while checking out. Though management took out wrong food charges from our bill but it was little cumbersome for traveller to go through at check out time. Steps must be taken to correct this problem to avoid any unauthorized charges at the first place.

Very nice hotel, unique in the area with very good standards on hospitality and service. Staff was well trained,professional and kind and with immediate response&attendance to our requests during our stay and for transportation. Also appreciated that they were using smoke outdoors to get rid of the mosquitoes.

Some features seemed outdated like the electrical amenities (plugs etc), some wear&tear especially in the bathroom and regarding cleanliness some areas under the nightstand or behind the bathtub and air vents at bathroom were not clean.

Everything was great. The people at front desk were so humble and helpful. Room was assigned to us in no time even though were were early and hotel was busy in some big event on that day. They treated each and everyone with great attention. Room was mesmerizing with clear view of mountains and sky. The large window in room takes the extra bounty. And last but not the least, their breakfast selection was 10/10.

It is a very well-maintained and managed hotel. Being away from the city, it is free from traffic and commotion. The staff is polite, friendly and helpful. The food served at the restaurants is fresh and delicious while the buffet breakfast is a lavish spread.

Since we arrived at 8 in morning, we were barged half a day of room rate instead of a complimentary early check-in.

Very well presented property away from downtown hustle and bustle!

Travel desk: 1. The driver for city sightseeing was resultant to go to any place! Someone please train the driver about why the guests hire his services! 2. I have booked for airport transfer! Travel desk person was absent at the scheduled time and did not advise the driver! Only after intervention by the hotel CSR that a car was arranged! It was good 30 minutes wait! What would happen if a guest is to catch a flight in hurry?
