We stayed at Nymfes for 4 nights on the beautiful island of Sifnos and would thoroughly recommend it. Located in Kamares, the main port town (though town is a stretch as it is small and perfectly walkable), Nymfes is well situated with decent views across the bay and only a short walk to the handful of waterside tavernas and coffee shops. Our rooms were side sea view, though we could happily sit on the small balcony and look over the town. Rooms, whilst compact are extremely comfortable, with good quality beds, black out blinds and excellent air con. Bathrooms are very small but have a full power shower – all recently decorated in a modern, yet fitting of the location style. Breakfast is excellent, in the open air terrace with a great selection of cereals, pastries, pies and fresh fruit available, a lot of which is home made. Great coffee – with Freddo Cappuccino available too! Pool is lovely to take a dip, though only a small number of loungers available which is not a problem with so many fantastic beaches on Sifnos. Staff were extremely friendly, accommodating and welcoming. Parking is available a short distance away from the property, though a shuttle is available to the ferry port. Great stay all round, fantastic little hotel!

The rooms were a little compact, particularly the bathroom - not a problem for us but something to be aware of. We would certainly not hesitate to stay again.

Everything! Free shuttle to and from the ferry, delicious breakfast, helpful and friendly staff and owners, clean, comfortable, well located (10 min walk to restaurants etc), good value! We had a balcony with a beautiful view of the harbor to enjoy our morning coffee. The drying rack on the balcony was also very convenient for washing a few clothes and drying our bathing suits. The island of Sifnos is spectacular and if we find ourselves traveling to Kamares again (hopefully) we would definitely stay here again!

Can’t think of a thing!

We all absolutely loved our stay at Nymfes Hotel. It is in a perfect position away from the noise but also an easy walk to the harbour and great little restaurants. The rooms were beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Our room had a separate seating areas and small balcony with beautiful views of the harbour and sea. The outdoor seating areas and pool area have a very welcoming feel and the breakfast was amazing - definitely the best on our trip so far with lovely home cooked options which was varied each day.

The breakfast was very good and well managed, with a variety of delicious hot and cold food, plentiful fruit and local pastries and croissants, barrister machine choice of coffees freshly made on request. Outdoor seating area was spacious and under shade. The hotel was efficiently run and spotlessly clean throughout.

The bathroom in room 19, was very small and a bit of a squeeze, but did not lack, with plentiful towels and toiletries.

Great location - a little away from the very touristy end of town but close enough to walk to anything. Very short walk to the beach where I swam every day in the crystal clear waters. Private, generous rooms. The hotel has lots of really lovely shared outdoor areas with plenty of shade to relax. The staff are really lovely and happy to help with any queries you have. The breakfast was good and available until 11am. Kamares is a great base location and you can get anywhere else in the island in 20 mins of less. We had a hire car which made getting around very easy.

Stylish, clean, setting, architecture, creative touches, use of terracotta and pots, lovely stonework, beautiful seating areas, great breakfast, having a pool, very helpful staff, great reception support. Would stay again and recommend this hotel to all travellers.

Pool liner was peeling - probably caused by heat and sun damage and being costly to replace and to do so would I imagine put the pool out of action for some time and it is a great feature that guests would miss if not available. But does need repair. Owner was a bit grumpy on our arrival claiming we hadn’t confirmed our arrival time - we had confirmed arrival between 7 and 8 pm via Booking.com and this WAS confirmed by Booking.com app. But owner didn’t appear to know that.

Lovely friendly run hotel very comfortable and nice location close to the beach and 10 mins walk to the restaurants. Fantastic breakfast with a wonderful choice. Room cleaned every day and adequate size for 3 nights, very good shower. Nice balcony to sit in the evening. Small pool with a few sunbeds.

The pool could have been cleaned a bit more often, was windy and hard to stop things blowing in the water. Just a comment not a big issue.

Our stay at Nymfes Hotel was idyllic! The hotel and room is beautifully decorated, the room is kept spotlessly clean, the staff are all friendly and helpful. We were picked up and taken back to h the port too, free of charge. Our balcony on second floor had an amazing view of the bay and sunsets are incredible. The pool is perfect for a refreshing swim and great lounges to relax. The breakfasts each day were lovely with all sorts of yummy options and great coffee too! We have been travelling in Greece for five weeks and this place is by far the best place we have stayed at. Thank you!

Our stay was incredible! All our expectations were excelled. Beautiful and quiet rooms, excellent breakfast and so many loving details all around the facility. 100% Greek feeling. Even more beautiful than the pictures here show. The hosts were very kind and friendly.

Due to the plants around the pool many insects drowned in it.

Very clean & friendly, good size room & views to sea & mountains, pretty gardens.

It is a 10/15 minute walk to the town bars, restaurants. So not really that good if you have walking difficulties, plus depending on your room steepish stairs.
