This small hotel is very quaint and run by a wonderful family. It is filled with keepsakes from around the world which gives it a very old world feel. It is located in a tiny village so there isn't much else around. There is a nice little bar next door. The food was exceptional and we ate dinner with the other guests staying that night. Everything was clean and although they are very vintage, the rooms are very nice. We were pleasantly surprised how nice everything was, it was such a treat to experience a bit of old world charm.

It’s a very authentic and unique atmosphere. You will never find such a place somewhere. If you are up for something special, this is your chance! The owners are extremely helpful and friendly. Beds are comfortable, the shower is warm and strong. Parking in front of the hotel.

I think the food (dinner and breakfast) could be improved. Bread could be fresher. Especially for the price, there are better options available in the area.

There was good communication from the hotel to check on our arrival time. Despite the language barrier, the hostess was very welcoming and helpful.

Easy to find. Lovely location. The interior decor was eclectic & unique. The food was out of this world. All 3 courses & the wine. And they serve Leffe Ruby.

In a quiet location in the countryside.

Room storage included someone else's clothes and there was clutter stored outside the room. No TV in room. Check-in was a little strange and because there was no guidance we used the bar/restaurant next door however we found out the next day during breakfast we could have stayed in.

The hotel is located in a pretty little village not near anything else except another small hotel and bar, which appeared more interesting. The room was reasonably comfortable.

This is a VERY quirkly little hotel bordering on a bit strange. We were greeted by an elderly lady, who seemed a bit dazed and didn't expect our arrival. She called her daughter, who arrived in about 10 minutes and despite having a confirmation from booking.com on her phone, also appeared surprised. The ground floor of the hotel is cluttered with old pottery and china, among many other things, and was quite cold. There are about 10 guest rooms upstairs and I think only two were occupied including ourselves. The room was not quite what we expected as it is advertised to contain a flat screen TV, hair dryer, patio, and executive lounge access - we did not have nor were we made aware of any of these facilities. Additonally the upstairs was also quite cold. The breakfast was reasonable. For all these reasons, we have decided to contact booking.com to discuss our stay and request compensation.
