Friendly staff/owner. Clean, smelled nice. Entire design of the hotel had a good vibe. location, placed just few steps off the main road. easy access, no issues parking.

Wi-fi signal was a bit spotty in our room, but once we got a hold of the signal, it was speedy. Heating in the room was gas radiator that was manually operated with a timed off switch that disabled it at "12:30am" for safety reasons. As much as I understand safety concerns, it was also January and the room was chilly.

The decor was beautiful. We stayed an extra night there. Our room was comfortable with a lovely view of the town and the Chepe train coming in. Our host was helpful. Location was good, it was easy to walk to bus and train and to go for countryside walks. Got complimentary water in the room.

Coffee/tea making facilities are always a welcome addition to any room. However, our host was happy to provide 2 cups with hot water.

Everything Was Super clean People was very friendly They explain clearly that the water can get frozen during the morning so they advise you to take a shower in the afternoon. Otherwise the weather will freeze the plumberies and the water would not be as hot as we wish it But if you follow the simplest instruction, your day will be super pleasant

Everything was perfect Nothing to complain They have a very nice restaurant. It is a pity that they do not use it for serving breakfast or dinners. But I totally understand it, because they sometimes do not have enough customers in low season and could be quite expensive to buy everything for two or three Guest that maybe preferred to eat outside

Memo as a host was SUPERB. When asked for support and advice he offered up suggestions on how to best enjoy the town. He offered us coffee before we got the early morning bus and turned the heating on for us in our room knowing that we were out to ensure we came back to a warm and cosy room.

The property was in a really good location, centred close to town but at night, it was a little scary having dogs follow us back as the location was just tucked behind the main road so no one else was on it. We’d previously had a bad experience with dogs in Divisadero so think our sensitivities were heightened.

Very unique property! Amazing staff! Guillermo was great, spoke English so he could practice and corrected me on my Spanish so I could practice. Gave me great recommendations! Walking distance to restaurant row and shops. Put extra blankets on the bed and started the heater whenever I needed it because it got below 0°C while I was there.

I can think of anything I didn’t like. I even liked the stairs lol, you’ll see!

Juan! The friendliest, most engaging host. He tended to all of our needs, made great coffee for us, told fun stories - he was the best part of our stay. Beyond that, the hotel design was interesting and cozy. The shared spaces were perfect for game nights!

The only drawback was the faucets in our room leaked a bit. Hard to take when I get up in a drought-stricken place.

Extremely comfortable beds and bathroom, spotless room. what made this place so special was the service - my friend got sick during her stay and the owner drove home to get the ingredients to brew her tea and checked up on her. They also spoke pretty good english. I would definitely stay here again.

It is in a great central location. The quality of the structure is very good the woodwork is top notch! They keep up with the maintenance. The quality of the bedding is very good with lots of warm blankets.

I didn’t like the fact that the gas to the heater is turned on and off by the management.

Good location with a view to the trains. The owner is always there and can organize a tour around Creel (6 hours, 550 Pesos). Cozy rooms.

If you have a room with a view to the trains you can of course also here them. But there is only max 1 in the early morning.

La Troje de Adobe has a lovely decor and great customer service. Our room was very cosy - the bed was comfortable and there was ample heating despite the cold outside temperature.

The stairs are the only option to access most of the rooms and would be difficult to use if you were older.
