It’s a fantastic hotel, with super friendly staff. Extra thanks for Max at the activities center who gave us free kites on our first day. This place is great for families with kids. We had a sunny week so we were on the pool every day. They even bring a cake to our bday!

If there was something to improve it would be the buffet. Example: Breakfast we see that they just repeated some of the cereals twice for two days since they ran out. Bread like the baguette was clearly from yesterday, so only fresh every two days. The chocolate fountain needs some staff to guard. Local kids were eating directly from the fountain putting used sticks in there.. Man Ho restaurant on the 11th floor has good food, but no English menus so not suitable for foreign tourists.

Two many people during the National Day holiday.

It was very quiet and relaxing. The front of desk staff are very helpful and were very attentive to my needs.

The only English speaking staff were the front desk staff which became a problem when ordering room service or needing help at the pool. It became an inconvenience. For a 5 star hotel the food was atrocious. The western dishes were very dissatisfactory. The pool was occupied everyday by a bunch of kids which looked like a swim school. It was loud and not pleasant.

The western breakfast was ok but the is not enough fruits. There was only a coffee machine. Staff are friendly and hardworking but inefficient. The gym is nice with very good equipment

There was impossible to stay comfortable in the outdoor swimming pool because of noisy air conditioner machine at the roof of the internal swimming pool. I measured 90 decibel of noise that was so loud that we couldn't talk or hear what people were saying. After a few minutes it was unbearable to be in the pool. There were many services that were not working, for example the bar and the towel service in the pool area, the lobby bar rarely had staff serving, the ice creams were in poor condition and the service in the restaurant on the 11th floor did not have most of the dishes from the menu. In the indoor pool part of the floor is made of polished marble that is very dangerous when wet, in fact I and other guest slipped and fell on the floor. There is no access to the lake from the hotel and just a little market to buy snacks nearby. The maintenance of the gardens is not good.

room was way way over priced. The childrens rooms is small amd has 1 box of lego and 2 soft toys and its 1000 rmb more, terrible value for money
