Nice building by a river with a nice garden and a couple of donkeys . What more could you want .. The best thing though was the 2 hosts. I had a bike that broke after the first day with a major problem . Pascal phoned a bike shop . Took me there , Explained the problem then waited while they fixed it . This was a rear spindle and free wheel that was replaced . Found a complete 26” wheel . Took me and the bike home . He was happy to help . I joined my friends on the next 5 days of biking instead of going home . If you want a Chambre D,Hote near the Poses barrage this is the place .

Everything! Beautiful house, large beautiful room, bath tub, comfortable queen bed.

The setting is amazing with a beautiful little river flowing right through the property. But, the property is pretty far from everything. If you have a car, it’s no problem. We were on a bicycle tour in August and the only nearby good restaurant was closed. So we had to take an expensive taxi to get to dinner and back.

Great B&B about half an hour's drive from Rouen in a large house in extensive gardens by a pretty river. The host was very friendly and we much enjoyed the quiet, peaceful atmosphere of both the comfortable, large room and green surroundings. Breakfast, around a large table, was excellent and a lovely opportunity to interact with other guests. This is a great base for anyone wishing to explore the area or for those who need a stopover in northern France, and provides excellent value.

Beautiful historic home sitting in a picturesque valley with a wonderful river running through the property. Home fully updated with all modern efficiencies. Wonderful hosts - very engaging and talkative ensuring your stay is best it can possibly be. Breakfast includes wonderful homemade jams. Highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a home away from home.

We were travelling to the Vendee as a family of 4. We used Les Rives de L'Andelle as a stop over en route. The room was a large family room with an entire suite bathroom. Breakfast was included and that was exceptional value. There were fresh croissants, as much fresh bread as you could eat with a variety of cold meats and cheeses, fruit juice and tea or coffee. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast. Absolutely fantastic.

Madame Pascale is a very sociable and pleasant person who prepared an excellent breakfast for us and chatted with us. We really liked it – the property is surrounded by greenery and the peaceful atmosphere of a large meadow and a nearby stream, which allowed us to rest well. We would return if we could.

lovely location and attractive decor. comfortable large bedroom with en suite shower room. very welcoming and friendly hosts who took the trouble to make a reservation for dinner at a local restaurant for us.

a lack of air conditioning could have made for an uncomfortable stay if the temperature had been as high as it was earlier in the week. a fan was provided but, unfortunately, it was hidden away, unannounced, in a bathroom cupboard. the shower, whilst roomy, had a very slippery tray which was potentially dangerous, particularly for anyone who was unsteady on their feet.

A lovely spot to relax in a very comfortable room. The room was large, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very enjoyable, particularly having the hostess discuss local attractions and sights.

There was no kettle in the room, but one was provided on request.

Les Rives de l'Andelle lies on the edge of small town of Romilly-sur-Andelle. This was our starting point of our trip to Normandie, France. Breakfast was great and we got a lot of great advice from our hosts. The house is very calm on the bank of a small stream. We had a nice dinner at L’évidence. Reservation is a must. City of Rouen is reachable by a 20-minutes train ride from Val-de-Reuil train station. A free park is available at the station. Omaha beach a 2-hour ride by car.

Beautiful house and surroundings. The host was very kind and attentive to our needs. The breakfast was generous and delicious. The rooms were beautifully decorated and comfortable.

Maybe the showers need some adjustments to make them more comfortable.
