The homey feeling of the whole area. You feel like you walked into your private backyard at your villa. The breakfast was good, fresh fruit and all the basics one needs, the pool area is small but very nice and zen. It was usually also very quiet during the day so one had almost exclusive use of the pool. Ideal place to relax. Staff was very polite and professional and try cleaning done to a high standard. Shower was great too with high pressure and hot water.

The WiFi wasn’t working properly. Losing signal all the time, unfortunately most of the time I had to rely on my own data which wasn’t ideal. None of the stuff spoke a little bit of English unlike most of the hotels in Rio. I guess it’s not very popular destination for international tourists. The room was very nice and just enough but too small so there wasn’t much space for luggages and to move around. The location is quiet which is good but nothing around so one relies on taxi or own car. But stop is not far but I wouldn’t waste time anymore waiting for a bus to Arraial do Cabo as I did twice and regretted my decision. They just don’t come or you can spend 30+ minutes waiting…or you can be lucky too. Good luck!

Very nice small hotel in a remote place close to a little canal. Anyway easy to reach with car or Uber. The staff is incredibly friendly. There is any comfort you might look for. Hardly recommendable

The hotel was exactly the way we saw on the picture. We Will definitely go back to the hotel.The service is excelent. Overall its a very confortable pousada. A nice place to spend and chill during the afternoon.

- Some of the staff is quite disrespectful and unfriendly (2 examples: (1) you can hand in the room keys for cleaning services until 2pm as a hotel rule, and if you hand it in between 1 and 2pm, they react reluctant even if you thereby comply with the hotel-given rules / (2) we asked for beach towels after our arrival which were thankfully provided, however, after 2 days suddenly another staff member just took them away from us unkindly and furiously saying that they are only for hotel-internal use and not for external beaches) - Thankfully they offered to wash our clothes even if it is not part of the offered hotel services which is of course a nice thing; however, they charged us 60 reales (approximately 12 euros) for that which comes not even close to what you would pay in the most expensive hotels in Europe for the same service -> as a client you honestly feel scammed (of course we should have asked the costs before, but either way it feels not right) - Impossible to communicate in English as a foreign tourist, you need to know Portuguese or Spanish - Not a real critique, but just be aware when you book and stay at the hotel that, (1) the "Standard Double Room" is really small and quite impossible to simultaneously walk around for 2 persons and (2) the hotel is very far away from everything (center, nice beaches & restaurants, etc.), so you either need to rent a car/motorbike or move with Uber (approximately. 20 reales to move to any place within Cabo Frio) In sum, we would not come there again and not recommend anyone to stay there. It's a pity due to the fact that instrastructure-wise the hotel installations have lots of potential, but unfortunately, the shown contra arguments related to the customer services overweigh...
