The hotel is in a beautiful old villa-style building in a gorgeous, quiet part of the city. We could walk five minutes through pretty, winding stone streets and find ourselves at the harbor. It felt safe and quiet. Breakfast was amazing and huge, in a garden downstairs. The room was very big and beautiful with an especially amazing bathroom. Everything was clean!

The staff were present to answer questions, though the advertised credit card machine wasn't working (this isn't the first place this happened to us-- just something to keep in mind as you plan how much cash you'll need). The staff hung out in the main hallway and it was a little weird to always have people sitting right outside your room, watching videos, playing music, etc. But it's not a deal-breaker, by any means.

Wonderful & beautifully decorated boutique-hotel! Have been coming to this hotel since 15 years. The staff is extremely helpful, they really make you feel at home.

We had perfect stay here in the room 4. The bathroom is amazing, water was hot and unlimited. It was possible to use bath. Breakfast was beautiful, yummy and tooooo much for 2 persons. From the window of bathroom we could see the garden with a lot of birds. There was no problem to stay luggage after check out.

The whole experience and stay at Dar Camelia exceeded our expectations! Would highly recommend for any traveller to the city! Wonderful place with superb hospitality! Thank you for making our family vacation a memorable one!

it was a cosy, comfortable haven for my time in the region. the staff were professional and accommodating, the breakfast was delicious and abundant, the facilities were sparkling clean and comfortable.

The hotel itself is so beautiful and well located in the city. The beaches are a few minutes away by walk. Breakfast was great. I recommend for a getaway.

No parking, no help to carry the suitcases, issues with wifi and hot water.

friendly and available personnel, smooth check-in well equipped and charming traditional rooms we took room 1 with the blue walls. the breakfast was rich the location is central competes well with the other accommodations in the city would definitely recommend

no hard separation between bathroom and bedroom, but we knew that from the pictures beforehand

The location, the ambiance and the staff

It is hard to find a parking. Next time I will visit it I will not struggle crossing the narrow streets and I will park from the public beach side, near Al Jamal beach.

The place style, location, very clean, staff are very helpful specially miss Carina who has prepared the breakfast for us and has strained the orange juice for my kids.
