Loved the commitment to renovating a traditional property in the heart of Pointe A Pitre. The attention to detail was obvious everywhere. The staff were exceptional in their passion, care and consideration to the guests. Just lovely warm genuine and welcoming from start to finish. This is a haven of relaxation and beauty in the centre of what is lets face it a run down and less than perfect city. If you are visiting PaP then this is the ONLY option for where to stay, it is so far above anything else we saw. Please support them and stay here, you will love the property and the staff if you value attention to detail and calmness.

I loved the authentic creole charm, comfort and refined elegance of the rooms at Maison Victoire. The comfort of staying in an aesthetically pleasing space allowed me to relax to the fullest. I believe the thing I enjoyed the most was the breakfast which I looked forward to every morning - the continental breakfast was perfectly curated to our liking. It so lovely to have wonderfully home-made breakfast prepared each morning and it was one of the highlights of our stay.

The only negative remark is that our room was not cleaned daily. During our 3 day stay it was only cleaned once - this is just a detail that I would have appreciated.

Maisone VIctoire is a absolute gem. Not only is the hotel positively gorgeous and provides you with everything you need but it also has an an incredible staff. In October, we booked a stay with them last minute due to Hurricane Tammy. The manager Lucille went above and beyond for us. She helped us so much during our stay with keeping us informed of the weather along with Guadeloupe hurricane protocols. She even reached out to our next accommodation to touch base with them for us. She turned a stressful situation into an actual lovely experience which included providing us with great recommendations for our short stay.

It’s a really nice renovation, with a charming feel of a colonial-era building and cute period touches. For me, the location was good, being the closest decent hotel to the ferry port and bus station. The bed sheets and the towels were excellent, and the beds very comfortable. The rotating front desk members of staff (also multitasking as chef for the breakfasts) were lovely and extremely helpful. The hotel also has stylish seating in a patio and on the roof, with a bar open when there are sufficient guests (the hotel is a true boutique hotel, with only five rooms). A very relaxing environment.

Pointe a Pitre is a rundown city, and the contrast between the lovely hotel and its surroundings was stark. As for the hotel, there are a few small quirks which would be worth addressing given the high room rates, eg some of the windows didn’t have glass (thus reducing the effectiveness of the a.c), and the (huge!) top floor room in which I stayed didn’t have a proper shower (just a shower hose in the antique bath). The multitasking that the normally single member of staff had to do (cooking breakfasts, checking guests in and out, sometimes even cleaning) meant things were not always seamless. But that’s not to detract from a memorable experience.

Great place in the center of Pointe-a-Pitre. We enjoyed the bohemian vibes and the staff was one of the friendliest we encountered during the trip. Amazing breakfast! We were a bit bummed to have not come from Thursday to the weekend because we were told they organize little events and a chef is in the premises to cook what I'm sure is delicious food. We would definitely come back just for that.

Absolutely nothing.

I was intrigued by reviews praising the breakfast superlatives: what would Maison Victoria do besides the usual ways of cooking eggs, the bacon, sausages and jams ? Well, the surprise lied in the choice of jams (who would think of making banana jam ?!), fresh persimmons, fresh bread, excellent cheese, and the attendants' smiles ! My room has a colonial decor, very large, calming ambiance lighting, quiet air conditioner, claw feet bathtub, original black and white bathroom tiles tastefully preserved, old wooden floors, high ceilings, desk and chairs. No TV, which helped to travel across the century back to the time the house was built. Excellent wifi. The indoor garden space and roof top garden. The tiny invisible frog singing that I took for a cicada. And over all, the elegance of the staff's attitude, care and information. I was treated like a princess with other special personalised treatments.

It looks down on the street. Night delivery, early morning workers make the bulk of noise and may bother light sleepers. However, this room worth the risk, particularly if you stay on non-working days where the traffic and business activities should be lowest.

A charming Boutique Hotel in the heart of Pointe-a-Pitre. It’s a 10 mins walk to the Ferry terminal which is why we chose it. It turned out to be a calming and stylish stay in the middle of Carnival Sunday. The staff is lovely and the house and rooms full of charm and good design.

The immediate neighbourhood isn’t exactly pretty but that’s PoP for you. The water pressure in the bath/shower was quite poor.

We had a delightful stay at Maison Victoire! The hotel itself is gorgeous, beautifully designed and decorated, and also exudes a strong sense of cosiness and warmth. Lucile, one of the hotel managers, took such good care of us - almost as if she was welcoming us in her own home. We enjoyed some lovely drinks on the rooftop followed by a candlelit dinner on one of the many charming terraces, feasting on fresh fish with local creole sauce - a big treat. Our only regret is that we were not able to stay longer!

Everything was of superb quality - customer service was amazing, wifi speed was strong, the hotel grounds were sparkling clean and gorgeous.

The highlight of this hotel is the service. The service I received from the all-female staff was exceptional. The genuine effort to answer any question and solve any problem anytime was always accompanied by a warm and welcoming smile. They always did way beyond my expectation. Incredible!!!

Climbing the stairs was quite difficult for me. An elevator could enhance my stay.

Lovely staff and nice breakfast. Beautiful common areas with very tasteful design and artwork. We loved the look of the room as well, despite functional issues.

A bit concerning that there is no staff or security presence at night. There was a beeping alarm going off in the building for over two hours late in the evening and unfortunately nobody at the front desk was able to help deal with it. A mini fridge and a proper standing shower in the bathroom would be a big improvement!
